| Great. We're gonna be able to send BC to the trashcan... finally!
As for the training, do you have some speed comparisons with BC?

| Nice to see niall0s that you have continued with Brutal Borg -project!! I hope we see release soon...? If I remember correctly, it was a lot faster than BC for training? Did you use python or what in "final" version? (I remember that you did first test version with python..?) | |

| Not sure if it's a lot faster than BC at the moment, does ~50,000 pupils per hour and I've been told BC is about the same speed. I'm working on a way to make if faster without killing the MT servers. I stayed with python, was a toss of a coin between that and c++ and since I'm using c++ a lot these days in my 9-5 I decided python would be best to keep me sane I wouldn't say the release would be soon, I was hoping to keep it quiet a bit longer but one of my test borgs was spotted by jcelite so I decided to speak about it sooner than I wanted. The other test borg is http://borg-eygs4uh2ew.mybrute.com/cellule for those who are interested in watching them level P.S. I have a static IP | |

Only testing on com currently but it should be trivial to port to the others - Gavy™ wrote:

I still have to write the server code and get a decent host so it'll be a while yet, sorry

Well BrutalBorg (BB) can train 50,000 pupils per hour currently, hope to get this up to about 70,000 per hour. I've no idea how fast BC is.... - Biceuri® wrote:

Early days for thinking about that yet but thanks for the offer :) - ALPHWON wrote:

Yes, at the moment everything works off csv files. I plan to implement some sort of persistant storage but I will keep it as open as possible so you can manage your brutes/pupils fairly easily.

That's great news :-) Working with Squirrel and the Decrypter in order to bypass that RC4+MD5 BC encryption was a pain. SQLite may be an interesting approach. Provides the advantages of a professional solution without being too heavy. All common SQL operations can then be executed by the users with SQLite Administrator or SQLite Manager Firefox Plugin which is probably more appropriate than Squirrel for small databases and straightforward to use (unlike Squirrel). EDIT: SQLite is bundled with Python 2.5+ and is the fasted DB system for single-connection simple databases.

:joker: Nope, proxy's IP's can be already used, and IP is all that matters.

I am not technologically gifted, so if you want a 'beta' tester for anything, I'm a good candidate  If I can get it to work, anyone here will be able to do so Seriously though, if I can help, I will.
