Well i get it at lv3 maybe i get FH, i still have alot of time, and i already got my first subpath lv4 is bombe or +3 rapidite xD (i taked the +3 rapidite)

imo the fan is as bad as the club but for another reasons i experianced.

it can be blocked very easy . it is mostly useless against Shields and powerless against counter + shield.
it gets thrown all the time very fast. (faster and more often than the Leek or Roquet) (huge Problem if you have 2 weapons or more, in my case it was Fan and Flail)
it can be dodged as easily as the Glaive...

but it has some positive aspects like:
its speed is crazy , it increases your speed up to 250% initiative (2.5 attacks) it is faster than Knife.
its multi hits is at least as good as the knife , but less than the Leek.
it can be scary combined with BoL and sang-chaud (but the risk of the Fan getting thrown is allways a problem)

Yeah, thats why i said the fan is basically a "weapon wrecker" if you combine it with vandalisme. At least, thats the only good use I see at the original mybrute and in this one doesnt change. But you may also need Impact to prevent shield blockings, so overall its not really a good weapon.
I dont have any leek brute but i suppose its about the same but better.
