| My contract runs out next month.
I'm geting either the Samsung Galaxy S or HTC Desire (NOT the HD version. The original is still a better all-rounder I think).
Those two, plust the iPhone4 (I don't like the Apple "do it rhough iTunes or not at all" philosophy), are pretty much regarded as the best 3 smartphones currently on the market. (At least, in the UK anyway), with the new LG one running the latest Windows Mobile vesion on it just behind them, (Meh) along with the HD vesion of the HTC Desire (too big .... REALLY bad battery life ... even for a smartphone).
Depends whether you can put up with the Apple ringfencing really ...... _________________  |

| For those two I would take N8. I don't like iTunes and iPhone has "death grip" problems etc.
New Symbian^3 in N8 is really a big improvement over S605th-edition. I currently have N97 mini with that S605th and it is really bad phone. It's slow and buggy. I tested N8 some while ago and it was really fast and smooth to use. And especially stable! +Camera in N8 is shockingly good. If only N8 would have better screen resolution and web browser..
Personally I probably sell my N97 and get a Android-phone. Not sure about model yet, but it has to have good screen resolution and fast processor, because I use much Internet with phone when I'm not in home.

| Nokia N8 it's waay better than Iphone 4...Iphone 4 it's a fail Iphone...bad camera...and it's the same as iphone 3gs...Nokia n8 has a really great camera...really good quallity beacuse of carl zeiss objective...So my vote goes for Nokia... -M JOKING  Iphone 4 it's double better than N8,so it's samsung galaxy S
