| It can generate .exe file .. After saving it as a *.act file .. at the lower right corner .. You can see a button there .. " Create SFX script " .. that would make your script an executable file .. | |

I'm using winauto (never tried actionazz) and find it more useful to work through its console rather than creating an .exe e.g. i don't have to kill the process on taskmanager and can interrupt a loop anytime restarting where it previously was

e.g. i don't have to kill the process on taskmanager and can interrupt a loop anytime restarting where it previously was I modified the origina script by adding an option that allows you to put a certain number of pupils to create, plus the option to close the computer when it stops so in this way you wont have the computer running all the time and you can leave it running for the time you want.

| I tried ActionAZ when I first played brute .... can't say I was terribly impressed.
WinAuto is a nice little app. Kind of QTPro junior.
But I'll take QTPro over both of them.
At one point, I had two PC's running.
They:
Pupilled all day. Stopped when TM started. Started checking the website at that point so they know when TM finished. When TM finished they entered my brutes into the tourney. Then they did the manual fights for all my brutes. Then ran training on about 25 BC databases. Then started pupilling again ..... and back to the top of this list.
So my brutes were pretty much self sufficient, all controlled by one main QTPro script, and didn't have to do much except check their tourney results.
I was going to set up a script to do that as well, but I never got round to it.

| Pretty much the way it now works for me :-) Pupilling, importing new pupils in BC database, training, registering, etc. All is done automatically using Winautomation + some custom VB tools (most of them released here on the Forum). Just checking when a new DE brute reaches BL in order to erase it from my auto-register list, and selecting new DE ones to pupil :-) Somehow never got hooked by ActionaZ. Major drawback of Winautomation is that it is not free. | |
