Whats the use of pupiling??

Can someone explain to me the use of having a pupil??

Well i assume you have a brute right? you do 3 fights per day and in the best chance you'll gain 6 xp (if all fights are won)

If you make a pupil that gives xp, each time that pupil raises level it will give 1 xp to the master, have you got it or shall i keep going?
