What levels are grouped together in the tournament?

Hi, I would like to know what is the grouping criteria in the tournament.
Specifically, I would like to know, after what level I'm no longer grouped with the smaller level brutes? My brute is currently at level 14 in the Richter Thumper ranking, and the highest level brute I've seen is 19. Is 20 the cut-off?

I'm afraid of leveling because I don't want to fight brutes with levels 20 and above

I didnt see any level 20 till now in my tournaments since I am playing. (I use my level 12 account in tournaments)

normally in topurnament you can find brutes up to level 20-22 or 24-28 in higher ranks

but there's no restriction, I can sign in tour with my lvl 37 if I want, but normally if you're rising a brute, you don't run tournaments

When you get Brutal Legend, you can't enter tourneys until level 15, and then you see from level 15 to level 30 which is already quite rare because your brute would have to really suck to not win the tourneys with such high level... And at lower levels, the thing is from level 3 to level 20 usually... near level 20 you should win already

lol. Yes thats what I think, I switched to PS3 since a year ago, big change in graphics and in player interaction to the game
