how come when i get pupils they don't give me ANY exp? Is it because i'm a pupil to someone?

Yeah, I noticed that too. All the trades I did yesterday didn't give me any experience. Only the ones that I used the change IP trick for self-pupiling worked for me.

I think after you've pupiled someone under a certain IP address once, all the pupils you make later on under that IP address won't give any experiences.
