| ... to realize that my brute sucks. Ok, maybe not that long. but you can take a quick look at his cellule here http://namct.mybrute.com/cellule Rewind back to 6 years ago, when I first started playing mybrute; I had a notion that my brute was a beast that destroyed everything in his path. I created namct after I'd learned of the inventory preview tool, but that was way before the date when I joined this forum and discovered Brutal Combo and the like. Back then I would never have dreamed of remotely reaching the level my brute is at now, so that explains a lot (why he sucks). Now that you have taken a look at his cellule, I'd venture a guess that your opinion was not much different. Strength-speed brute, a couple pets, a couple underwhelming skills, with a severe lack of the essentials such as Tornado of Blows, Untouchable, Implacable, etc. In a nutshell, he sucks, but believe it or not, he was the BEST at ... level 5. At the modest level 5, he had a dog and a bear, which basically meant a guaranteed win almost every single time he stepped into the arena. I mean, just try him with your brute at level 5, and you'll see for yourself. With that said, you guessed it, I found out about BC in time and leveled him up much faster than he was comfortable with. The game got a lot harder when hyper-agile brutes started whooping his ass. I should have figured out way sooner that Agility is more or less what wins you the game: the more agility points you have, the easier you dodge and the harder you hit. In my defense, the wiki that I read kinda overplayed Speed, instead of giving me the cold hard truth that it's worthless when you can't even hit your damn opponent. That really sucked and baffled me for a while before I grew a pair, out of deep-seated denial, and came to terms with the fact that my brute never had the game-winning gem(s) the game has to offer. Well, since I don't play the game anymore, I don't really care. At least he is BL now. Whoever lays eyes on this topic, however, knows he once ROCKED. At level 5. PS: Agility needs a nerf. It's better late than never Edit: Feel free to share your stories in here, unless your brute doesn't suck. In that case, do not post in here. Jk, please post.

| Nota bene, as you know you may explore all 999'999 IDs in the game using Pupil Commander (the Search Engine) and perform simulations using the offline simulator http://labrutetools.fr.cr/?page=simuoff in order to find the best brutes at any given target level. Of course this has been extensively discussed over the years and there are many posts in this forum that explain the most critical abilities for a brute to get in order to become the best performer. But of course since you've been hanging around here for quite a few years now you must be fully aware of all this. | |

| Absolutely not. I was an avid forum reader for a really short period of time, and I just came back from a long hiatus, no longer caring about the game. This is one of the topics that are supposed to make people musingly go "oh, those were the days," not a complaint topic about my poor brute All in all my intention was for people to post nostalgic stories in here, since I am sure there are other "sucky" brutes out there that people stick with for emotional reasons, and I just put a thin veil over it by ranting about how my brute sucks. Btw I just discovered the muxxu version a couple days ago and it's totally cool. No pupils, 10 fights per day, seems fair. And my brute got a bear at lv2 so I just might probably possibly resume playing this game | |

Yes i still have my first brute http://alphwon.mybrute.com/cellule Amazing since it was probably the first weird 'fighting stance' brute some have seen It's been nice since most of the first brutes to reach high levels (i mean around 100) really sucked , then we got amazing tools provided by firstly Eumugen and then the array of 'calculators' made possible by Sioc which allowed us to take a giant leap forward in the search for the greatest brute ever. Nonetheless it coincided with the start of the end and brought with it possibly the biggest 'attack of the clones' since ever Despite all that i think i speak for everyone when i say that Sioc has contributed more than anyone in this community has thought would be possible So thank you! All in all it has been quite the ride! | |
