| Wednesday, 2:50 PM I was having class.. It was almost over.. But Something bad happened.. The ceiling was sheared. The factory's photo was shaking. Guess what is it?? - Spoiler:
IT IS AN EARTHQUAKE
More than 90 students in my classes were afraid and running away.. And This is my first time to use the emergency door lol.. The epicenter was not too far from here since it is at the same Province.. And It has 7.3 Richter Scale.. I believe fotum felt that too...

Me too! Not a bad one, of course... Down here in the Cayman Islands, the only natural disaster that strikes is hurricanes. No tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc

| Wow, crazy Zeph. I'm so glad you're alright!
I've actually had a similar experience while I was in a lecture hall at the university. It was during finals but it was just a minor shake and everyone kinda just looked at each other and laughed it off. lol. It was no where near a 7.3 though!
I hope Suiseseki checks in and is ok as well.

| damn! i was on the 10th floor of my apartment building when i felt the earthquake.. it was mild swaying at first but it got very intense very quickly.... i think i heard a rumbling of the building. my first instinct is to run...i ran using the emergency door from the 10th floor... funny thing is i was only wearing my boxer (no shirt, no pants, no shoes). i think i was the first one that got of the building, i met some people who are waiting for the elevator on the 2nd floor, i yelled at them to use the stairs. i think from all the people evacuated the buildings, im the only one that wearing boxer it was a shocking experience lol... | |

| At that time, I was at 3rd floor.. And The subject was all about safety.. What a coincidence..
This data was last updated at September 3rd, 2009 10.00 PM In my current city I lived in, Bandung, there were 9 deaths, 5 injuries, 768 houses were collapsed, 6 Public facilities were destroyed... Because of that earthquake...

| @ Lumi & Bob: Thanks alot for your concern :) I've just found this thread. I'm safe...even I'm really shocked. That was the hugest earthquake I've ever experienced, and last about 2 minutes... I'm in university that time, in a basement, new building (you know, most of new building still not stable). All students run in panic, and I'm really scared... The wall is begin cracking...emergency exit was closed because it's about 3pm here, not many activities left in university. There's someone breaking a mirror door to get out, because its dangerous to use stairs... All communication lines was destroyed, I'm very panicked because I can't call my mom that time...glad they were safe too..
@ Zephyr: glad you're safe too..we're in the same province...

@ Zephyr: glad you're safe too..our position that time are close enough, aren't we? Oh, yeah.. I've heard that some of your university building has its mirror broken... So, you use that emergency Mirror exit.... lol to run away... I was panic.. I must pass narrow corridor at the 3rd floor..... because the corridor is too crowded for many people... For the first time, I think it is the simulation made while I'm being lectured about safety lol... But, when I think that my university doesn't have such a thing to simulate... Then.. OMG..... [Casted Haste, and Using Bolt of Lightning to my leg] And Glad, you're safe too

.....actually, no. I was almost dragged by my friend to one of main exit (it was close enough with my position, although I must use stairs, past corridor, etc.) I lost my logic that time Glad that time not too many students at campus...so it's not too crowded. Later I know why my friend was being so calm. He thinks it was a simulation too

| Simulation? How can that be? The whole building is swaying, ground is trembling and no one is saying that this is a simulation. I would think that was a real earthquake, not a simulation. | |

| Yes @ FlamingToaster, I know that was a real earthquake. I was too shocked to move, and I didn't know too why my friend thinks it was a simulation, with real quake and wall-cracking... | |
