Password Recovery - Suggestions, Help PLEASE!

I have spoke to a few of you already, but here is my issue:

My school re-imaged our laptops today and I had my password for my brutes on a sticky note on the laptop, but once they re-imaged the computer the sticky was deleted. Now I dont have the password for my brutes and its way too complicated for me to even try to remember.

I have talked to the Tech Department at my school, and they said there is no way for them to recover my sticky notes.

Is there any way (software, hack, etc.) for me to get my password back?

All three of my brutes. Please continue to level the pupils though, as I plan on recovering the password eventually.

Start>Run and type in "regedit"

Ok, then what?

Search for the brutes name

All is see is "find" and when i type the brutes name in, it searches and then says that it has finished searching the registry.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you show me a screenshot of the steps I need to take to search for the brute please?

You probably don't have the passwords saved in internet explorer if you're having this problem, but if they are saved you can extract them with IE PassView

I dont believe the password is saved. The password was on a sticky note on the computer.

After reading this I´m really glad that I have backup of my passes written down with pencil!!
next time you better send your passes to your email or something^^ so u can grab them if they get lose!
