how bout that?? 4000 hp + immortal is fine since you can't do it without immortal, but adding skill requirements to the other is unnecessary cause it's not like you HAVE to have a skill to get 300 str or agl

| i'd say 4000 hp immortal with 1% tolerance no, why should we raise up hp that high for immortals? the higher, the weaker they are. look @ http://ashaokht6.mybrute.com/cellule he is a really strong immortal & has 3200 hp http://oontack.fr/brutes/combats/index.php?brute_1=ashaokht6&langue_1=mybrute&langue_2=mybrute&brute_2=illmove14&niveau_1=500&niveau_2=500&seed= or http://crator273.mybrute.com/cellule with 2066 hp http://oontack.fr/brutes/combats/index.php?brute_1=Crator273&langue_1=mybrute&langue_2=mybrute&brute_2=illmove14&niveau_1=500&niveau_2=500&seed= why don't we say 3000 hp? | |

look @ http://ashaokht6.mybrute.com/cellule he is a really strong immortal & has 3200 hp
remember the rule says, 3000hp OR immortality by lvl500. so that brute should qualify rite?

| you should make this tourney like sum kinda muliti team tourney like keep your origonal idea e.g A "Team" consists of 3 brutes, each team must have an agility, a hp AND a strength brute with the minimum requirement stat like whats yous are doing now. and each brute in each team must be 3 unique players only e.g 3 unique users- ips whatever...almost reminds me of marvel Vs capcom ^^"
itll be just like world of warcraft! e.g lf1m str 2vs2 ..or lf2m ...hp and ag 3vs3

why don't we say 3000 hp? I have thought about the 3000+ or 4000+ hp threshold quite a bit and I think I will end up going with 3000+. Here are some considerations: 1) 3000 hp is high already when you compare it to your average agility brute or strength brute with hp's usually around 1400 or so. So 3000+ satisfies the "high" hp concept of this tournament I believe. 2) I think what makes it hard when considering hp brutes is the wide variation in hp they actually have. I skimmed through the Immortal Tournament sign-ups thread and wrote down the hp (at level 500) of the first 25 Immortals I came upon. The least had an hp of 3002 the highest was 6242. 10 of these brutes were between 3000 and 4000 hp. The average hp of these brutes was 4426. While a 3000 hp brute vs a 4000 hp brute can be a close encounter that usually isn't the case with a 3000 hp vs a 5000 or 6000 hp brute. The 3000 hp brute has a big advantage. Hence I think some of us with the higher 4000+ hp brutes are not so keen to see the 3000 hp brutes in the contest. However, this tournament is more about comparing hp vs agilty and hp vs strength and strength vs agility. Is it so obvious that 3000 hp brute will do better against an agility or strength brute than a 5000 hp brute? I don't think so and maybe a 4000 hp brute is better than both at being competitive with other styles. 3) To downplay the possible inequities associated with one Immortal vs another Immortal in the contest I am considering introducing a tiered scoring system each round. It will be easy to understand and will probably be: Immortal vs Immortal, 1 point for a win Strength vs Strength, 1 point for a win Agility vs Agility, 1 point for a win All other combinations, 2 points for a win A loss scores 0 points Rounds would be out of 30 points (6 fights at 1 point each add 12 fights worth 2 points each) and this also reduces the chance of needing any tie-breaker fights I think. This also means nobody has to find a high stat Immortal in the 3000 range to be competitive. It may turn out that such Immortal brutes are the best to have all round, but maybe not. Personally, my 4300 hp brute seems to do better than my 3300 hp brute a lot of the time.

| I think I'll invite sign-ups as soon as BE has cleared and we can check which brutes we want to use. Oontack only works for me on brutes I have very recently simulated; that is the same for everyone I guess!? | |

| So is the immortal cut-off at 3000 now?
You should also up the strength threshold to 300 to prevent from hyper-strength/agility brutes from entering. This will keep it strictly strong brutes!
