Oops, I forgot the Winter Lineup of 2009.

Click here to skip to the Spring lineup of 2010:
http://mybrute.forumotion.com/off-topics-f7/spring-2010-anime-t5413-15.htm#105352

The Fall lineup for 2009:

http://chartfag.wordpress.com/

I haven't even caught up with last season. Though less than half interests me, still some promising series this Fall.

My pick is Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Sequels or side stories to Darker than Black, Kiddy Grade, Shugo Chara, To Aru Majutsu no Index, Queen's Blade and even InuYasha. I still haven't finished some of those series yet, but one episode of Queen's Blade was enough for me. And to the fans of InuYasha, there will finally be an ending. And this isn't counting the OVAs.

I saw some of the first episodes:
Fairy Tail reminds me of One Piece, but deals with magic guilds than pirates.
True Kohime Musuo was okay. Female warriors vs bandits.
Shugo Chara Party - Lol, yea I'll admit to watching this. That first season opening tune is still stuck in my mind. But I could do without the live action in this new series.

And it seems yuri (girl-girl) is as popular as ever with this season too.

What are you looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to Fairy Tail, since I'm already hooked up with the anime Very Happy.

It might as well be (consider it R rated, not X). With such good talent in that production, it's um, way over the top, with a lot of ecchiness. If seen the end of the first episode of last season, will know what I mean. That was enough for me. But many enjoy that silliness... something that would only be done in anime.

I've seen Inuyasha's last episode(not the 167th episode, but the actual ending) and it's kind of disappointing. :|

Yup, last chapter of manga, released 17 June 2008 if I'm not mistaken. The anime show sticked ,pretty much, to the manga action so it will be the same ending. :study:

Oh, I'm sure there will be more. It's based off of the light novels and plenty of them that hasn't been animated.

The main storyline is still continuing, with the latest novel, Approaching Nick of Time, released on February 2008. Shoji Gatoh has recently stated in his blog that the next novel will be the climax of the series.

It's too great of a goldmine to ignore. Just that it takes a good production team and time to continue with the same high quality standards of the previous series. Maybe waiting on the conclusion to plan it all out?

Yeah...a sad moment in Naruto Sad. Next episode is gonna be Sasuke vs. Itachi Razz. As I already read the manga I wouldn't wanna spoil you Very Happy.

Spring lineup of 2010

This season is mostly sequels: K-On, Major, Ikkitousen, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Shin Koihime Musuo, etc. So it's much easier to decide, if already viewed the earlier shows.

Including OVAs of major popular shows, like Gurren-Lagann, FMA, Darker than Black, Negima, Utawarerumono, Gundam, One Piece, etc.

Well, this is the lineup to be televised in Japan, except the OVAs which are to be sold during this time.

Crunchyroll and Funimation streams a few of these sometimes after an hour of being televised in Japan. The rest you can get from fansubbers Wink

While this Spring lineup is mostly sequels, there are still some interesting new ones.

B Gata H Kei:
A huge twist from other ecchi series. The girl is the one that aspires to have 100 sex partners. She targets an average looking boy to be her first... even forgets what he looks like. Though narcissistic, she is good natured deep down, which is causing her to have all kinds of troubles. While I normally skip ecchi series, this show is actually hilarious and well written. It's obviously going to turn into a romance.

Heroman:
I think it's funny how it's set in the US. Even the robot is red, white, and blue. Though the setting looks right, the kids still have Japanese mannerisms. Well, not my type of show. But if you enjoyed Eureka Seven, you'll probably like this. The art and style is similar, having the same feel.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama:
So many maid and butler shows recently, but this is no 'Ladies vs Butlers'. A romantic comedy more like Skip Beat.

Giant Killing:
Japanese Soccer - I like competitive shows.

Working!:
A guy gets persuaded by a classmate to work with her at a Family Restaurant. But the people there are just as unique (weird) as he. I like the manager. How she doesn't take cr*p from rude customers.

House of Five Leaves:
Don't expect action even though it deals with a Rounin. Mostly all dialogue. Everyone looks melancholy. But it did get me interested. Just hope it doesn't push it's personal ethics like Manglobe did with Ergo Proxy.

And my personal pick of this season is Angel Beats written by KEY.
From the same people who made Kanon, Air TV, and Clannad. It's a must watch for me.

In the afterlife, everything seems the same. If obey what angel says and lead a normal life, will disappear (be reincarnated?). But Yurippe decides to go against god, and she leads a bunch of rebels to aid against the angel that keeps this place in order.

I love KEY's humour, while fully expecting the heavy melodrama that comes with their works.
Here's some screencaps
Spoiler:
