File lost... help??!?!

What good file recover software exists for Windows. I lost some really important files abot a year aago (2008) cause I accidentally emptied my Recycle Bin. And they weren't too big (1 MB max).

There are numerous data recovery programs out there. The one I used a while back was called GetDataBack... not sure if it's outdated now though. You should be able to grab it off a torrent site. Worked great. It's amazing how many files are still in tact even though you think you deleted it. Was even able to pull up vid files.

Good luck. I know how annoying it can be to lose important files.

I'd say your chances are not good unless you haven't used the drive since.

If the drive has been in use, and the sectors these files used to be on have been used for other data since, your chances of recovering them are not so good.
