Hello,
I've been playing MyBrute for just a month or two now and only recently found this site. Now I finally understand how you guys have 200-level brutes with 100k pupils. I came here basically because I have been running a few brutes through low levels, doing my own research and thinking about how to take my gaming to the next level.
I'm running about 4-6 brutes, they've been solid winners at low levels, but after reading the various threads here and running them through various previews and simulations, it's become clear that they're not going to be great brutes in a much longer term. Here they are if you want to take a look, the highest level is 15:

By running back through my various pupils and alts I've identified one or two brutes that, by level 150, will be great fighters and worthy high-level brutes. Problem is, until they get to level 150 or so they will suck painfully and be no fun at all to play for the months and months it takes to level them up.
In short, I'm wondering whether I actually want to continue to the next stage of the game. I really don't think I want to go through the trouble of setting up BC so I can get tens of thousands of pupils to boost my levels up to the point where I'll be competitive in the tournaments. Without a tool like that, or hundreds of hours of hackery, it will take me years and years of normal game play to get up to those levels, and by that time the top brutes will be level 1000 or so. So I'm wondering what sort of MyBrute player I really want to be, and what I want to get out of the game.
In the meantime, I've been really enjoying the iPhone/iPod version of MyBrute, and it's a much more level playing field there. (Not to mention that there's no tournaments, so there's nothing really to aspire to.) I don't see a lot of coverage of the iPhone game here, so I'll be trying to gin up some. In many ways, it's a more exciting and more challenging game.
In that case, let me introduce my dojo, Dragonsfoot, code DHFDFIFE, bear focus and bear master.
Teethymo: level 32 brute with low stats but good skills (sabotage, impact, cry) and a grizzly bear/black panther combo, 400 wins 105 defeats
Polly Poo: level 32 brute with 33 strength, wolf and snow lion, sabotage and strong arm, 400 wins 50 defeats
Banjo the Beagl: level 32 brute with 31 speed, shield/armor/skin, master of arms and strong arm, snow lion and hypnosis, 400 wins 82 defeats
Sockmonkey: level 30 brute with 21 agility, implacable and hypnosis, panda and black panther but win-challenged at 250
Suzy Savage: level 29 brute with 21 agility, tornado and cry, and 4 heavy weapons
Axlotl: level 29 with mad defense (shield, armor, skin, potion, vitality)
Because of the hard work of my pupils, I'll probably level up 4 of these brutes today. But I still need pupils to unlock two more brutes, so if you're looking for a dojo, pick mine!
