What level? I'm not sure, I could use some advice on what level I should expect to play at. I've been checking new brutes at about level 150, but that might be optimistic.

I have BC, but I have to create my pupils one at a time, by using the unplug-the-router method and the web interface. It takes about 20 minutes of unpluggedness to reset the IP, so I can realistically only create a couple of brutes per day. Once I create them I stuff them into BC with Eumigen's tool (thank you thank you thank you) and they can stay there and get leveled up. But I am looking at a potential number of pupils in the hundreds, perhaps 1000+ over time. Given these limitations, can I even expect to reach level 100 before too long? It's nice to create brutes that win big in the simulator at level 150 or 200, but if it'll take 10 years to get them there, perhaps I should be testing them at a much lower level?

Actually, if you didn't actively check this pair when you set them up, then you've done OK.

Neither are utter stunner, 10/10 types .... but they aren't too bad really.

http://new-wave-hot-dog.mybrute.com/cellule - is missing a few key skills like implacable and untouchable, but stats are a reasonable 36/82/75 & 455hp- too much speed and not enough power but agility is half decent. Not great, but not horrendous. Average overall.

http://vector-shadow.mybrute.com/cellule - is the better of the two for me. By 150 has both implacable AND untouchable. Missing a few other things but by no means a total disaster. Stats are a respectable 72/93/22 & 443hp. Nice balance of power and agility. Not too bad at all. Not fantastic perhaps but pretty decent overall.

Thanks, BtB. I'll tell you why I'm playing up these particular brutes. First of all, they are fun to play at low levels (which they'll be at for a long time, as I explained). Vector Shadow is sort of average now at level 18, the lack of anti-pet skills is a problem, but when she gets to 24 she gets master of arms and already has 4 weapons it applies to, so that'll be huge. Basically I like her stats and that she's already got untouchable and implacable. When she gets to 36 and has tornado, strong arm, and martial arts she should be a blast, but she's basically a straight-up stats fighter.

New Wave Hot Dog is about to add hypnosis and martial arts, and sabotage plus the leek (and soon tornado) is devastating. She's not quite dominating right now, and she probably never will, but she's a decent asymmetrical brute, and most important, she's fun to play right now.

Now here's an interesting one I'd like you all to rate. Basically, I took Vector Shadow's name and plugged it into Labrute.fr and came up with this weird low-level immortal:

I know that immortals' stats suck, but I'm having a great time watching her ping away all the opponents' weapons and then just outlast their fists with sheer hit points. More weapons are on the way soon, and impact at 41, and by 150 she'll be well over 1000 hits with armor, skin, shield, and potion. I've seen better immortals by far (in fact, I have one) but this one is plenty fun for low levels on the "other server".

Immortals like that are entertaining if nothing else.

I have two of them. Neither will ever be taken to high level but the big pile of HP is entertaining in the early rounds of the tourney.

No idea if the pupils he has will carry him that far .... maybe eventually but he probably won't be getting any more.

Immortal brutes aren't worth leveling up as they will ALWAYS lose to hyper agi brutes unless you get one with good stats and skills i.e http://lrd-nasix.mybrute.com/cellule then you got a nice combo.

Truthfully you should just go with what you like, I want my brutes to be good but as you search for good ones you have to make a decision sometime, the price i payed was denying my brute not having a super on higher levels such deluge, hammer, immortal or hypnosis.
Which i'm a bit dissapointed with because these skills do make the brute a lot more interesting, but since he had practicly everything when it comes to stats/abilities/pets/weapons by 130-140 + my name instead of a bot name such as lo2-934djmG and nice GFX he was the best brute I've could've chosen and I'm still happy with him.

So yeah, if you got a nice brute and you feel like continuing leveling him for the next xxxx days and you've considered he's worth the effort just pick him.
