Wolf or Bear?

Everybody says the wolf is more rare, but I just made around 100 brutes, and got 2 wolves and no bears. Am I just weird, or (un)lucky (dunno which is supposed to be better)?

in the early levels a panther (even when it looks more like a wolf) is better. he is like a multi hit weapon. a bear only attacks every 2nd round in a fight.
later a bear is better, not because of the damages he does, but for the hits he can take.
at the really high levels there is only a marginal difference between all pets, they are only good to distract your opponent from hitting your brute.

What would you consider low, and high levels? I used to think that 25 was high, but when I came here, there are level 500s o.o

For me:

Noob is sub-level 20
Low is 20-50
Middling is 50-100
On the up is 100-200
High is 200-300
Mega is 300-400
Monster is 400+

Not worth a separate category for the 500+'ers as there are so few of them ....

i prefer wolfs but wolf must be with 2-3 dogs

guy with bear or girl with bear

Although imo wolf is better at lower level, more hits..

Nice :) I'm thinking wolf + 3 dogs @low levels = a good attack
bear + 3 dogs = a good defence :)

BUT BOTH! That would be attack and defence But I like bears, like the x-men say, "A good defence is a good offence"

wolf is better because it has multiple attacks. Bear has more HP though so as long as your opponent attacks it first it can be better sometines.

for sure the bear is better, cause he can't only kill a dog in one round, but also the wolf. a wolf can't kill a bear in time...

i prefer the wolf(panther)

Its not only about this, the bear takes more HP from your brute so your brute alone becomes weaker if you get a bear than by getting a wolf.

my favorite pet is wolf he can kill all of the dogs in a fight
