| As indicated in this thread, replays are destined to be deleted eventually. And we are talking about within 1-2 days only. It makes the Fight Replays section pretty pointless unless you can check the section on a daily basis. Most threads are dead after 2 days. Do you have any ideas how to save fight replays efficiently so latecomers can still watch them :?: Any  ?? | |

| I dont kno if there is a way to save fights to ur comp sou can up it to a hosting site or not. Right now I think the best option is to use one of those screen recorders to record it and up it to youtube. | |

It's what I have in mind too, in which I have suggested in another thread. But that's pretty complicated so people generally don't, and we are having tons of dead threads now. Hopefully there is a smarter solution. Hmmm..... should we help backup some before they go dead?

| Well if we were to record everyone's fights that are posted in the fight replays section, that would take a lot of work. (Using CamStudio / Fraps etc. to select the correct region to record, save, host on youtube.)
If anyone wants to do that, be my guest.

If anyone wants to do that, be my guest. I would like to know if there are some easy methods to save the fight replays. I'm still writing MyBrute guides and doing research, so I will be very busy. Hopefully someone can give us a hand to help archiving at least a few memorable fights. :farao:

I think saving the file to the Rapid Share is good also... Just like Silonix do... https://mybrute.forumotion.com/fight-replays-f3/oh-my-god-luck-t778.htm But, it has more than 50000 views.... Something is weird... Uploading to Rapidshit- er RapidShare... means no streaming. I think youtube would be the best option. - fotum wrote:

Most likely CamStudio.

| Jill Sandwich is right. Rapidshare is not permanent storage. If no one downloads the fie for a specific period, it will be deleted eventually. YouTube (or other video sites) are definitely better choice, not to say you simply click to view (rather than "typing activation code + waiting etc. -> downloading -> go to directory -> open file to view). @ fotum I have taught people how to record videos in the thread (link stated in the first post). It's the ultimate way to record any video but rather ineffective. Go here for details: https://mybrute.forumotion.com/fight-replays-f3/read-me-why-can-t-i-see-the-fight-reply-aka-why-save-the-replay-t810.htmIf we can find a way to save the fight replays directly, it will be much more helpful. We may try to use software to capture the streaming data (video). Found a few Flash saving/capturing tools: http://www.flash-screen.com/flashsaver/download.html http://www.unhsolutions.net/Flash-Saving-Plugin/index.html http://all-streaming-media.com/record-video-stream/record-streaming-video-Adobe-Flash-FLV-videos.htm I haven't experimented yet. I hope someone will shed some light on it. Tell me if it works. I wonder if Firefox has any plugin to help. Tried Video Download Helper but it doesn't support MyBrute sites. | |

| zshare might also be another easy option to view saved fights. | |

saved fights. We have to download to view, aren't we? Video hosting sites are better options. YouTube is great.

Lol I posted in this thread already. - TraehDliw09 wrote:

And then I opened the saved .avi video and opened it with photoshop as a video layer. I added the other things to it and then saved it as a .gif and uploaded it to photobucket.com OR, you can edit the .avi with a video editing program then upload it youtube or something, or just upload it straight to youtube. OR upload it to a file sharing site where people can download the .avi to watch. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?gjiqndmdkw3
