| What kiwiman is talking about is running a simple brute force password breaker.
Not hard to do, not even very hard to find a ready made one on the internet. I could put one together in about 10 minutes.
But these have their limits. If a password is strong (ie. good mix of characters/numbers/symbols ands upper and lower case) it can take a VERY long time to get through it ... if it does at all. This is why there is a post at the top of this forum telling you to make them strong! If you use a simple and/or obvious password, it's a lot easier to break it. As the guy scamming these accounts obviously found out when someone manually guessed the password he used on some of the first ones he got.
What sioc is talking about is trashing the site they are hosting the phishing page from. Entirely different thing and a bit trickier to do than a brute force password breaker .... | |

| Simple brute force password crackers really have their limitations. Let's take for example random 15+ characters password, which contains upper and lower keys, special symbols and numbers. That isn't anymore crackable with normal computers, you would need very heavy prossesing power and very lot of time for even trying it.. Probably you wouldn't crack it at all. | |
