Would not change much. BC speed is first of all limited by bandwidth (even on my old Pentium-M 1.4 laptop from 2003). Your CPU is 4-core hyperthreading, which means for Windows it is as if it had 8 processors (you can see 8 CPUs in the task manager). However still only a few applications out there take full advantage of multi-cores nowadays though. But for example Office 2010 does, or 7zip x64, etc.. | |
