funny how the supposedly amazing kn2 has got BL at the highest level of all!...

Luck of the draw and a pretty decent all-rounder.

Nasic entered on a good day with not too many of the REALLY big guns (ie. level 400+) involved. The two biggest ones (Dipo and Bic) were in the same quarter of the draw (along with most of mine) and Nasic was on the other side of the draw completely.

One of mine (insanity232) got even luckier. Joined a tourney with limited entry due to some sort of BE (from what I remember) and then ended up on the right side of the draw AND pulled out a lucky-ish win at 20h to fluke his way to BL .....

Stick another 100 levels on JPE and keep entering him and I reckon you'd get a similar day .... eventually.

thanks guys! now if only I could have seen who I beat before TM, but I had been too busy taking care of stuff for someone else obviously the fight couldn't be saved, but can anyone tell me who I fought against?

IIRC it was axtract89kx at 20h.

perhaps I'm being technical or something, but does that mean nobody challenged me at 21h, or I had to fight him twice to win?

You lost the finals, think it was "chiko Koji" can't really remember how to write the brute's name tbh.
But we have both Axtract to thank for getting our brutes into the finals and achieving BL

Yeh, shame Vortex got the drop on you.
I noticed that at a lot of key moments where an opportunity for BL rose up it was a balanced brute who snatched the prize.
I think people underestimate them, agi is the most important stat for sure but str shouldn't be far behind :0

all the stats and bonuses are important. thpfn has great agility but not that good on other things
