BC problem

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question but I need help.

What does this mean? I have never BC'ed before, I am still learning, could someone explain what I am doing wrong?

1. "ERROR No match found": from the FAQ: you didn't specify the masters name in your config.xml
   
2. "Vous n'avez pas configuré le changement d'IP": you didn't configure your IP Resetter, read the Brutal Combo documentation here.
   

Basically Brutal Combo is not a "out-of-the-box" application but needs quite a lot work in order to have it working properly.
But luckily all necessary explanations can be found on this forum.

1, I did specify the masters name in my config.xml file, I double checked it.
2, my IP resetter is: "resetIP.bat" In my config.xml file I did this.

What is wrong with it?

About the ERROR NO MATCH FOUND it appears as well If you try to create brutes when there is a technical maintenance (TM) or a brutal error (BE) on the the target server. Just retry when you are sure the server is up and running.

About second error you must configure your IP resetter in resetIP.bat. For example look here: https://mybrute.forumotion.com/cheats-scripts-f13/creating-a-reconnectbat-file-t389.htm or if you can't do it that way use Actionaz or Winautomation.

I did make two pupils but I did nto get any xp. I still need to configure my IP Resetter. How can actionaz or Winautomation help me with this?

They can help you by automatizing what you can manually do (reset your router) from the web-configuration page of your router.

Ok, so they work the same as ghostmouse. I would rather make a reconnect.bat file. I tried using telnet, but it just gave me an error. In the link that you gave me to setup BC, it did not say anything about having to make a reconnect.bat file or having to go to my web-configuration page. To run the brutal-combo.jar file, I use the configuration.txt to make it run properly. So in order for the resetIP.bat file to work, I need a reconnect.bat file right? How did you make your reconnect.bat file?

I read both of them, none of them can help me. So basically what I guess I am saying is, when I get this message: "echo "Vous n'avez pas configuré le changement d'IP", can I fix this by putting something into the resetIP.bat file? If I open it up, can I put anything in there that would fix the error?

I think you have then overlooked what was written in these topics, or maybe going to some more elementary stuff would be required.

What is a *.bat file: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batch_file (indeed it is a plain text file you can edit with any text editor)

Router configuration page: given by your ISP in order to manually configure your router (or reset it). Look at your ISP documentation.

Winautomation / Actionaz: not really like Ghostmouse. Much more sophisticated and using a scripting language (and if you opt for this route you'll need something more robust than Ghostmouse).

Finally: Google is your friend.

So, in order for me to get BC to work for me, I have to make a reconnect.bat file right? And, with the new BC 1.3.00 that was posted today, there are now 4 slots. I know that you can make 2 pupils per IP. If you put 4 names in the four slots, will it still give you xp even though you have 4 and not 2? I know I have put you through alot. And I so sorry.

No, you can add more slots if you want (e.g. 2 x 4 = 8 ). So with 1 IP you can make up to 8 XP pupils, 2 on each server.

I do not know what this is for, when I try to open it I get: Adobe Reader could not open 'SwitchIP_pirelli.rar' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

The link that you gave me for setting up BC told me that the only thing I had to change was the config.xml. When I start BC and click creation automatique:

When I open resetIP.bat by changing (.bat) to (.txt) it opens in a text document and it tells me this: echo "Vous n'avez pas configuré le changement d'IP"

Now I understand that in order for me to get xp for the pupils, I must put something in the resetIP.bat file. Is the next step require me to make a reconnect.bat file? Or is there something I can type into my resetIP.bat file that would = configuring my ip resetter? :oops:

when i click on the jar file I get:
"Could not find the main class: labrute.ui.SwingUI. Program will exit.
