Because of the *gameplay itself as it is* and as it was initially supposed to be by MT.

the cheating part is indeed bad.
the normal game system for leveling up is utter cr@p, it asks for cheating in order to get your brutes developed.
I think everyone would love a mybrute 2.0 with cheating disallowed and a good system that allows you to level up fast without cheating and with only the use of your skill.

I would have been happy not being able to cheat as well, as long as nobody else could cheat. as I told my clanmates, I cheat to try to keep up with the best cheaters, as much as possible...

Initially I created a big pile of brutes as I wanted a bear! (Hence the original bobthebear839 .... and yes I did create bobthebear001 to bobthebear838 until I got one!!! Didn't know about predictor sites in those days!)

But as I was creating all these brutes, I found all the possible combinations and permutations quite interesting and just sort of got hooked from there.

Still haven't worked out why it's "stuck" for so long?!?!? scratch

yeah, this pretty much sums up my dysfunction as well, and even though I already knew about the predictor sites I was trying to get a brute w/ a bear earlier on, because at the time level 20 just seemed so unattainable.

The only reason Istick around has 0 to do with the actual game.
Its more about the community here and the friends I have met....
