this makes absolutly no sense what so ever to retire or DQ someone in this League Shocked

i thought it was a no brainer...
how the HELL are those who had bad results at lvl 500 and lvl 300 are going to catch up with those who had good results???
you take 4 Entries out -----> which means 12 possible Points per Round which means ------> 36 possible Pionts in the last 3 rounds.

not fair at all...

i only feel sad for watching and posting 56 seeds for nothing , but i am out of this league if we will proceed so... (if Nixxxon want to stay in badly let him do his fights from round 2 and replace him with my Entry)

Q: Why sign up if you're going to drop out after the first or second round? I think the rules were pretty clear in the sign up. (Nixxon was just a little late, happens but don't DQ him)

All the contenders should man up and do their fights, else it's no use like Rico said because some people can't catch up.
I have a day off atm and if anything you don't see me do this on a daily basis but I'm willing to do ALL missing fights.
This way you can fix the scores and everyone can do their own missing fights vs the DQ'd opponents.

People should be able to still get pts from the DQ'd opponents even though they are out.

Glad to see that, I've entered horrible brutes in the past but always saw the end of it since it's just a game and it's fun to see or experiment with different brutes, if you leave out the DQ's the whole structure of the tourney collapses and there would be no use in continuing which would be a shame so:

I vote to reintroduce the previous DQ'd contenders, if they are willing they can do their own fights for round 3 if not people STILL fight them in the upcoming rounds just to even out the points and we can continue without any uneven score related problems.

If mods agree then the people who have done their fights for round 3 can do those few extra fights vs the DQ's and add those extra pts.

Here is my score from round 3 including the fights against the DQ's, as you can see I scored XX instead of 21

The rest are the remaining fights from round 2.

I too have understood there would be no brutes DQ in the various rounds and we had to add the point of all 5 rounds! so it seems correct to add DQ brutes.
otherwise if I add the points obteined with 11 opponents, with those with 14 opponents, it can distort the results

yes and biceuri do all fight still vs the guy who are DQ, that's why he got 21 points XD

S4nt0S if you read my post, I'm sure (or I hope) it will be done like that so except for Bic's small mistake he ends up with 20 pts for third round.

Indeed, a lot of people still in the race if the DQ'd brutes are still in and the people who haven't done the DQ fights for the third round get 4 extra results :)

Thanks Rico for noting the problem with my xteen vs Nixxxon fights that I did (in a hurry Wink

for xteen)

I think we are seeing some of the difficulties in running a league competition:

1) The right amount of fights isn't easy to structure fairly each round
2) Those who do poorly in in the first couple of rounds are nearly always going to want to give up. I've seen this same phenomenon happen in backgammon tourneys where a round-robin league style format is tried
3) I have an idea how to make it work better next time, but we can discuss that later Wink

So I am out of T´s and organize them!
