BC really really slow

...in training the pupils. It used to take me about 1 and a half hours to train 50.000pupils, now it takes more than 3!
Anyone has experimented the same slow down?

Only 3 hours for 50.000 pupils ???? You are lucky.

If 50.000 pupils are in ES ... 3 hours is nothing.

I have DATA's in ES, with 60.000 and takes more 16 hours for train it.

after certain activities with many connections i faced a similar problem.
the solution was easy.
deactivate the connectio and then re-activate the connection in windows.
or reboot from time to time.

That might be it.... its the ES server that is very slow... when i do fights its really slow aswell. Only a part of my pupils are in ES server luckily.

As a reminder, BC prior to version 1.3 doesn't use a server at all, therefore no bottleneck apart from your computer/ISP and eventually MT servers (as NixxoN wrote above).

I train with 1.02

ok, this is definitely not related to ES server only... COM server appears to be slow aswell...

There must be something wrong with your computer/net connection
I'm using v1.3 to train and it takes me the same time to train as it used to

I think I got what is happening

the OPPONENTS LIST

I had one with 72kb and the bc was oppening in arround 25 min.
now, same database with a opponents list with 20 kb, it oppen in less than 3 minutes

It should open in less then 30 secs

I am not seen any slowdown with my training in com. The only guess I would have is a IP(home) slowdown.

But I did see this.
DSL was visibly slow and would even stop.
The Cable I use now.......

My connection is supposed to be very fast compared to the standards we had several years ago, the improvement has been massive.

He has me beat.

But i think your problem would be the one that Ckl mentioned earlier, how big are your opponents lists?
I once made a db to train my lvl100+ and it would take forever to load because of the opps


Now that noone but me is using the connection

no the opponents list is not the problem because i have used the same one since more than a year ago and BC was fast two months ago, and the file is 12 KB

I'd save my current DBs and do a system restore

i have only experinced a slow down, only in ES server, very very slow, sometimes i didn,t even train the data, ie COM,FR and DE very fast
