| another point, did the bot store a date in his DB? it seems that the DB always run from the beginning after you restart. It' maybe better the bot knows which pupils are trained today and start training at the point you stop. | |

Explained in Pupil Commander FAQ. About the BE/TM this needs further investigation. We've identified something that should be improved in the pupil creation loop. Hopefully will be in 1.0.1 (unchanged default connection timeout of 100 seconds that should be lowered with a retry every few seconds). - Biceuri® wrote:

Should work fine. Tested with 750'000 pupils ;-)

- Just as a reminder:
1) Pupil Commander includes a built-in database manager which means that in 99% of the cases you do NOT need Squirrel, Sqlite Admin etc. All what you need is eventually to play around with Excel / OpenOffice in order to get the proper import format.
2) About the configuration changes: configuration IS saved to the s3db file in version 1.0.0 (unless the tool is closed before saving, or if you erase the s3db file). No need to wait for 1.0.1 for this.
3) About the delay for creating pupils: there may be an issue making it a bit slower than expected. We have to investigate. 3) It is going at BC speed (at least for me) 30 secs and i'm done with 8 pups Nothing to say other than it is working great and you've done a GREAT job

| @Picard: when you get the error, can you click on the link of the error message that displays the detailed information, then post the related information here?
EDIT: Ok, fixed the problem of excessive delay for pupil creation while reconnecting that some users have reported. Added a few more error handlers that should avoid errors mentioned above. Both will be included in version 1.0.1 (target release: tomorrow evening).

Good news, because it is an important part. In my case I can reconnect in 3 seconds, and stays much longer waiting for creation.

Explained in detail in the Pupil Commander built-in FAQ: "MyBrute Help" -> "Pupil Commander FAQ". - steele11 wrote:

We've put in place sufficient protections against the causes of BEs, much more than what was in Brutal Combo. And I think the community is not large enough anymore in order to cause BEs if everyone is training at the same time. Will just slow down MT servers.

| Should be about the same speed for the moment. But niall0s has a great expertise in this domain and he'll be able to push training speed to new limits ;-) | |

| Damn. I'm not good at Spanish.
Anyway, released version 1.0.1 that *should* fix the following things:
- IMPROVEMENT: minor GUI changes. - IMPROVEMENT: changed splash screen (credits go to Blakallam17). - FEATURE: checks for unsaved configuration changes before closing the application. - BUG: fixed excessive pupil creation delay after router reset. - BUG: added a few error handlers and internal code optimizations. - BUG: fixed incorrect mass import of pupils where the level was left blank. - BUG: fixed processes that were staying in memory after Pupil Commander was closing.

No, just copy the database file that you already have into the new extracted folder To be clear, you just have to keep a copy of the .s3db file you can delete everything else, put the new .exe in the folder and double click :)

| Sioc i try training with a new list of pupils.
To see what happends, the pupils that arent mine it says " wrong login " - this is nice i can see what pupils i want to delete. an the pupils that dont exists, again nice to see what pupils i want to delete.
But how can i fast delete them ?
And the figths for the good Xp pupils doesnt show in Pupil comander window like bc, it's supose to be like this? And a green line for us to see how many time will take to train will be cool, like BC.
Thanks in advance | |
