The house is coming along nicely.

Roof area is covered now with plywood. Wife fun to watch now(she has to pick paint colors) I ain't picking so I will not be at fault if she don't like them.

far out your Florida is like our Queensland. both beautiful and sunny and humid. good idea with the easy living planing :). my late great uncle Karl was from Florida, joined the marines in 1942 and as you can guess married an aussie girl,my great aunt. she moved to the U.S with him after ww2 and were happily married until their deaths 11 and 6 years ago. so you were a submariner? US NAVY?

Built to accommodate me in a wheelchair . Nice big portico in front so I can get in and out of a vehicle and not worry about the weather. (I also have a garage)

I'm always amazed by the speed at which houses are built in the US vs speed in European countries :-)

the speed of building house in my country is nothing compared to that

it takes long time to finish a house here, rarely see houses being built at that speed
and in there, seemed like they used heavy equipments for faster construction
