Hey RG .... just a suggestion ....

If you get a few more than 16 entries, why not try a "Champions League" style tournament?

If you get 20, you could do 4 groups of 5 brutes, all fight each other, top 2 in each group go through to the last 8 where it becomes standard knockout.

If you do best of 9 rounds for each fight, "Round difference - W/L" can decide the group placings if they are tied.

Just a thought. :)

D'oh. Thought signups didn't start until after K's tourney started (which won't happen until Monday I think). No biggie if I missed my chance to get in since I don't really have a decent immortal on hand.

you'll have to excuse us...I think we got just a little carried away, and things can really get away from you when that happens

One other thing you might want to mention for people to take into consideration is that Immortal brute fights tend to take much longer to sim than the tourney matches we usually do... so for those that may not be able to put in the time to sim their own fights for whatever reason(s) they should make sure they lineup someone willing to do it for them or make other arrangements and not just figure it'll get done for them. I don't want to see you and other helpers being stuck at the end of rounds simming a bunch of matches that take forever. Normally it's not a big deal, but with the increase in average time per match over standard tourneys it could become a rather bothersome chore.

Just a thought.

well 1st a list is made usually of 64 (more or less) brutes which signed up for the tourney then someone makes a schedule with the rounds(who vs who)then the owner of the tourney makes the seeds for each round(every round could be different level) then we use a working simulator( usually this: http://oontack.fr/brutes/combats/ ) and then we fight and the winner gets a prize(usually pupils or sig or both )
