You need pupils from a unique IP address. That is, once a person has pupiled under a master from a certain computer, unless the IP address is changed any other pupils you make aren't going to give a drop of experience. I found this out the hard way.

You can have 80000 pupils, but if the people who made them for you already pupiled under someone else with the same IP, it's the same as having zero pupils.
