You're right .... although I had to stop and think about it for a second!

It's the same two brutes, with the same seed, but the levels will be reversed on the home and away matches.

The neutral link can be recycled, but you all have to do your own home and away ones.

Did you run your own fights against him?

You can't go by his links as the levels swap round when you do the home and away fights ... only the neutral fight will be the same for both of you.

(Although, I thought I was out, but if you do finish with 9 points and someone else manages to do REALLY badly or get DQ'd I could still scrape through! Laughing

)

sorry about that .. what I did is just reverse the record since it's same seeds and level (even in home & away). for example in silver's post .. I won in his away seed. vice-versa is i won in my home seed.. Razz

and with slap's post .. No reason to do some twist .. but as silver mention slap fight all matches @ level 100 .. so I actually lose in my away match Razz

I think I'm gonna have to do a bit of checking thorugh this thread when I get home this evening!

I was only planning to change the first round to use groups .... and nothing else.

Then when I started that I got all carried away with home and away .... home advantage .... penalties .... etc etc

Added a few more "twists" that I initially planned! Razz

Pege has "wrecks" you with his ideas :-)

But i like this system!!!

Its a touch better then my :-)

THink i will organize a BIG one tournament with this style!

Lets say midday GMT is the cut-off point at the moment ....

If no-one else posts, top 3 in all groups will go through.

If no-one else posts in group 1, and Slap doesn't post corrected fights (they're still wrong at the moment), then we will only have 2 qualifiers from group 1.

That being the case, the final place in round 2 will/would go to the 4th place finisher with the most points.

Your shield in your away match was the difference between you qualifying and me getting through.

When I had your energy right down you blocked a punch with the shield that would have finished it as I went with a strength brute. After that block you downed your potion and trashed me for there on in ..... my chance was gone.

(Also - a fierce flail hit when I netted you at the start of the round would have been more beneficial to me than the 3 points my dog took off you! Razz

)

GL in the next round. Having just re-watched that fight and seen how crazy high your agility is at that level, I'm surprised you finished with such a low total as well! scratch
