Help with BC

One of my BC db's doesn't do the fights
It shows how many brutes it has, i already tried to switch my computer date and it still won't do the fights
And yes i have an opponnents list and all

Any ideas??

What level are ur pupils and what level does ur opponents list go up to?

pups are from lvl3 to lvl 5 and the opps list goes to lvl 20

the thing that bugs is that i let the db running while i was away and my dad shut down my pc
can it be corrupted? if so, it wouldn't show me how many brutes i have would it??

Ahh, not the problem I am thinking of.
I'm not sure then, hopefully someone else knows.

Turning off the pc during the combats shouldn't affect it I think. Since I've done it a few times.

It may have finished training them for today before it was shut off. Changing the date won't help. Will know for sure tomorrow.

@stsin: it was shutdown 2 days ago and since then it hasn't been working. I thought the same 'no worries tomorrow it'll be fine...'

Is the DB shared with another, so that they may have trained them before you?

If there is corruption, it\'s probably only to the log files, and not the actual DB since it was only training. So can always use SQuirreL to extract the list of pupils from the DB and add to a new one. Or try deleting the log files to build new ones, though someone told me that\'s not a good idea.

edit: I take that back, forgot that it updates IDs and levels during training. Well, SQuirreL still should be able to salvage that DB if due to corruption.

No the db is only mine, so it's not possible someone had train them

Hmmm, strange prob,
do you get any warnings or errors while try to do the combats?
Have you got a friend that uses BC too? If you have one, take your database to him and try to do the fights on his BC.

you did not mention if you are getting a warning like "warn: not enough opponents at lvl x". if you are seeing that, then another possibility about your opponents list is that it is not 100% accurate, as opponents can level up. did you open bc and check the opponents there?

@eumigen and bamb@n: None of those probs, it seems 2k+ pups just vanished, after that i made my 2pups/day and it does their fights with no problems, no errors no warnings nothing

Install another BC on your computer, try out the db, if you got a list I suggest you manually connect to the mybrute db with mySQL using Eumigen's tut, I had a db with around 200 pups before but they were only proxy pupils, I encountered the same error after awhile, but after I ran it on another BC it worked again. so far I still have 2-3 BC's on my computer simply because 1 or 2 db's won't run on the one I use normally...

ALPHAWON - send me your data file. No guarantees that I can fix it, but it won't hurt to give it a try.

Also, tell me which brutes the pupils belong to. I'll remove the pupils that aren't yours.
