1 .- What is the way to separate students from the data faster or combo?

example: I have gross COM FR ES and export with the file data.txt squirrel I have to do first?

I have a thousand students in the data

Spread quickly as I have to go to Get Names or Get Masters?

Then use the decrypter in ImportFile DB?

What would be the steps to make it shorter?

If not, do it!

If yes, what is the problem?
Please be more precise on the problem, give us a few mor informations so that we can help you

If you want to kick all FR-pupils there is a fast way, but if you only want to kick a few pupils of a domain (COM, ES, FR) out of the database, you have to use the get Masters function.
Here the good news, the new Version I released yesterday can be paused and appended, so that you can do the get Masters on real big database too now

one thing I can see that would cause problems right away is your pupils are listed like this:

9ee21128825xxxx996393fxxxxxe1b4; 1xxx52;, 3, 123456; 2009-12-19; 0m69br1l @ WBP; ES

whe it should be this:

9ee21128825xxxx996393fxxxxxe1b4;1xxx52;3;123456;2009-12-19;0m69br1l @ WBP;ES



one space between columns, like "; x" is not really a problem, but the ";, 3, 123456" would cause a problem because it is supposed to be in semicolon format, with no commas, as far as I know.


to fix this, paste all in a word document, where you can tell it to find all "," and replace with ";". then, you can put it back in the txt you were using.

after that use the instructions in eumigen's tutorial, to delete by ID. you just run the risk of losing a few pupils that way...

I did not see the commas, should put my glases on ...
bamb@m is right, the commas must be the cause of the problem, fix it and then try it again.

BTW: If you export the pupils by ID you will not lose one you only will have a few unwanted in the new database, about 0.1% because of double ID's. If you delet the unwanted pupils by ID you will lose asbout 0.1% of the wanted pupils.

I want to separate students from each teacher to drop into a different combo each.

What is the easy way to do so, as I do?

the easy way doing this is to pay someone to do this for you, there are two people here on board who offer this service
It's Aylove and me who are doing this, Aylove for money, me for EXP-Points ...

The cheap way to do this is to read my tut and do as described there
