Actually, mantis, with the wolf at level 3 and vitality just after I bet he can't lose. The wolf is just impossible for low-level brutes to beat, even the few brutes with bomb, net, or cry usually won't get them out in time.

On the other hand, yeah, by level 10 I bet that's starting to fade a lot so I see what you mean. But there's no excuse for taking the massue. No weapon is better than the massue unless you have perseverant, implacable, or gros-bras, or immortality with armor.

The mace is a good weapon if you have perserverent, just like the halberrd. I have a brute with perserverent and halberd and he fucking rapes with it.

Kitty is relatively well balanced. That's what I like about her. But Grizgirl (I like to change names ^^) has MA and more power than Kitty. I won't deny that Kitty often finishes her matchs with bare hands, though >_>
