Mantis is a little bit too harsh in his analysis but he is not in the wrong.

You shouldn't have taken the spear, especially against +3 agi if I remember well.

It has 3 direct consecuences which are not totally harmless :
- One more weapon decreases the probability to take flail or sai.
- Thief has a philosophy : you can't have too much weapons because you will be less willing to use this ability. What people generally forget is that thief doesn't imply just a very good weapon in your possession ; it makes your opponent harmless (except for fists) and destroy a little counter brutes.
- agi can make you into a "machinegun flail brute" like Fauvette

We just say to take a subpath after choc/thief, not to take one more weapon (except for top ones).

Oops. I probably told you to take thief not even realizing that would cause noise not to use her flail next time. Don't get me wrong, thief is one of my favorite skills in muxxu and I take it whenever I can (I have at least 5 brutes with thief). In Noise's case it just doesn't work though. She NEEDS the flail to be successful. She is so dependent on the flail that she can't take thief. Like I said, martial arts would be perfect because then you'd never need another weapon. I'd say either try the path without taking thief next time or try the path where you take agility instead of spear (that should have been a no brainer with feline agility).

That is true, but I think there are going to be more bad weapons then good overall. The flail is the best weapon in the game so unless you're stealing another flail (which you don't need to since you already have one!!) then it is a bad trade-off. Go with agility over thief.

I kinda disagree that there's going to be more bad weapons than good overall. Like xteen says, most of the brutes in upper ranks don't have bad weapons, with a couple exceptions. Like Kitty, for instance, but as an immortal she plays a different style. Stealing her club or baton would be a good move rather than a bad one.

Agility helps with the 6th sense attacks, I'm sure of it. He doesn't have the skill but he gets a ton of them with the epee.

Don't forget that if you don't take thief, you don't open the path for choc.

If you try to take a subpath before, I would be very surprised if you have something exceptionnal.

Thief will allow you to take a lot of flail and will protect you from things such as vandalisme. I did not study it thoroughly but I wouldn't be surprised if Kitty were the only brute on the top 50 with a club.

I think agility and speed play a role in 6th sense attacks.

Kitty is more than a immortal. She's a weird brute who likes a lot to play with her club. I have seen it so much that I could do a whole essay on it.
