Recording your Brutes' fights! Your favourite fights aren't stored forever on server so they will be eventually lost. The lifespan is only 1-2 days based on current traffic.
A little program called CamStudio could help. It's a software which can record videos and animations. Here's how:
Install CamStudio (download camstudio)
Don't forget to install CamStudio Codec (download codec)
Open CamStudio and select Region (this is the area of the screen to be recorded. Under this field, tick Fixed Region and enter 505 for width and 330 for height - ideal for framing the MyBrute battle window!)
Choose Options -> Video Options. From the drop down window of the Compressor section, select CamStudio Lossless Codec v1.4.
Make sure the Camstudio program window is to the top left of your screen so it doesn't interfere with the recording.
Click the Record button and you will have a framework window come up, place it at co-ordinates: Left: 417, Top:281 and left click.. it will start recording. It's best to have your screen at your Brute's cell, ready to click the fight you want to save.
Click Stop on CamStudio when the fight ends. You will be prompted to save the file.
Upload to YouTube or whatever place you like. Credits: Jaws on PALGN forum for the instructions.
Recording Tips [IMPORTANT] Unlike the original fight replays, we cannot see the stats of both fighters. You may want to mouseover both fighters at the start or the end of the fights, so the recording software can screenshot their stats too!

Hi everyone,
Jaws from PALGN here.
ronga, thanks for all your excellent work on the Best Brute Wiki. I will be sure to update and help polish it's entries when I have the time.
To BadBoy2234123, Jazz & TraehDliw09 who are having trouble with CamStudio..
After recording your fight and pressing the Stop button, you need to rename the *.avi part to something else before pressing 'Save' or you will be clicking it till the cows come home. After this, the CamStudio player (or a media player of your choice that you select in CamStudio / Options / Program Options / Play AVI file when recording stops / Use System Default Player) will appear and replay the fight.
Good luck and happy Bruting
If you have any more problems, let me know.

BadBoy2234123, if it's the codec you're having trouble with, why not try another screen grab program called FRAPS.
Good luck!

It's time to move on to another program. Download FRAPS from the link in my post above yours and give that one a try instead.

Whenever I try and record using this codec, I get an error telling me I need to have Camtasia Recording Software installed. How did you get just the codec to work with CamStudio?

LOL If the *.avi thing appears you must replace the * with the name you want to give to your video. For example: Video.avi

Once I have saved my .avi file it won't let me upload to YouTube.
About half way through it says 'Upload failed' why?
