We are quite aware of the fact that forum violators (intentional or non intentional) or what you call spammers still remain viable in individual My brute threads. Spammers nowadays are numerous, and the volume of irrelevant posts has become very high. This will therefore lead to invasion of privacy in individual team threads and in a broader context might induce to technical concerns resulting to the enforcement of unnecessary adjustments to cope with the deluge of irrelevant messages and for these reasons, spamming should be reviled.

The My brute Message Boards is basically created to provide assistance to technical issues, and also serve as a way of community interaction site for Mybrute players. As regular Gamers, we have the responsibility to maintain the functionality of this forum and allow this forum to serve its purpose. And in order for these to be implemented, we have to work on minimizing if not to eliminate the spam capacity of the thread. We have to start somewhere, so let��s start in My brute Community.

One of the so many ways to solve this problem is simply by giving acknowledgment and this thread is established for this purpose. Providing recognition to a good forumer will, in my own point of view, definitely set an example to all thread users to demonstrate the proper utilization of this forum and probably inspire them to tag on as well.



Mechanics:

- Any forumer here in My Brute Forum is eligible to be nominated for Member of the month
- MOTM will be awarded in a monthly basis
- Nominations are accepted from Mondays to Fridays only, second to the last day of the month will be the judgment day, and the Member of the month will be posted at the last day of the month
- The number of nominees per month will range from a minimum of three persons and a maximum of eight persons
- member for the month will be judged basing on the criteria

Poll Votes
One week before the Judgement Day. A poll which entitle the deserving forumer to be called as member of the Month for the Month of June will be made. So that our fellow forumers can also cast their votes of whom they think deserves the title. The Poll will be holded for one week.

Historical Quality
The most important aspect of an entry is its historical quality, which determines 40% of the total evaluation. The judges' evaluation will rest on the forumers' success at conducting, interpreting their ideas and conclusions. A superior rating generally reflects positive responses to the following questions:

-Is their posts accurate?
-Does their posts demonstrate an understanding of the historical context--the intellectual, physical, social, and cultural setting of the topic?

Clarity of Post
Although historical quality is most important, posts must be presented in an effective manner. Do not be carried away by glitz; simpler is often--but not always--better. The following questions will be considered by judges when looking at clarity of post:

-Is their posts original, creative, well organized, and imaginative in subject?
-Is their posts effective in communicating the significance of the topic?

Relevance of Post
This is on how pertinent, connected, or applicable the post is to a given topic. A post is relevant if it serves as a mean to a given purpose and is able to provide aid and assistance in the community.
