Bad Luck Fights Thread!

No brute blocks 30% of attacks with bare hands I don't care how strong he is or if he has counter. Blocking with just bare hands is extremely rare and it never gets higher than 10% realistically.

well the 10 % chance of blocking is offered when a brute gets counter anyway (its from the info of counter ). so this does not need testing. but the blocking with high strength thing i tested only in mybrute. sadly i do not have a counter hyper strength without shield for testing in muxxu. but in the tv i might get lucky and see one

The 10% blocking is not always 10% though. Some weapons are a lot harder to block than others. For example, a hammer or flail will never be blocked by bare hands regardless of strength or counter. I can GUARANTEE that!

I still feel like the hammer technique is worth it, especially with high strength. Anyway, my bad luck is just as bad as ever, but at least YuriG got baton and glaive to aid with her shield/counter.

yes grizz that is what we discovered in the other thread of the affect of Agi on the heavy weapons (pumps and stone hammer) and it appeared to be for all weapons an bare hands too but with diffrent persentage
higher agility increas the chance of hitting succesfully. even if it is low. as long as your brute has more agi than the agi of your opponent he will hit more succesfully than the opponents. (but every weapon or bare hands has its own persentage!!!!)
And in this fight untoutchable did not make this fact change because both had untoutchable.

FUCK! This was the iron fist tourney. So close... once it came down to a punching match I was like yes, I have this in the bag he's doing 1 damage a punch. Then he fucking throws a bomb and crushes my hopes. I needed ONE more punch! If I could have just held onto a weapon/stolen one of his I could have been fine. Ugh what a horrible seed. How did I lose my shield? He doesn't even have choc, that never happens...

you should know that some weapons can randomly disarm even without having choc. The baton sometimes disarms. In fact you did disarm him too without having choc.
Also, the bomb is a pretty good skill against the low HP brutes.

Im 100% sure that the seeds work like this:

Brute1 vs Brute2

The more victory % a brute has, a better seed it gets (i cant prove this but im pretty sure)
If a brute has an awful victory %, gets rubbish seeds.
If Brute1 has a better victory % than Brute2, then Brute1 gets a favouring seed (no matter their levels or stats or anything)
...And the other way round.

Also, random blocks, counters or multihits are just GIFTS for having a high % victory

thats how I think this works.

I say this because I have a good brute and a bad brute ATM. My good brute has a great victory % and she gets so lucky usually or has good seeds and destroys the opponents. My bad brute has a terrible % ratio due to a terrible destiny I chose. She seems to have become retarded. She usually does all the dumbest things she can and everything goes wrong for her... Gets blocked all the time, doesnt use weapons early enough, doesnt do as much multihits as she should and of course she throws the weapons... thats it

This is the iron fist final. I have 27 agility and she has 5... yet she goes two for two with the hammer??? She doesn't have implacable... there's no excuse for this!

Explanation? Bad luck.

The conspiracy I've been looking at is the brute's level. I've had many good brutes of low to mid level come up against a crappy high level brute and suddenly forget/throw their weapons, be strangely unable to hit/block anything, and generally suck. My pet theory is that any brute's base number to hit, block, dodge, and init is set first by level, D&D style. Then it gets modified by stats, skills, and weapons. So low level brutes facing off against high level brutes start off in a statistical hole.

Sure, I've had a level 4 beat a level 14 but that kind of thing is really an anomaly.

I didnt say you can't get crappy fights with great brutes, but im pretty sure that the more you win and the higher your win ratio is, the better you perform in general (blocks, multihits, counters and good seeds in general)
As i said i have a pretty good brute and a shitty brute, it truly happens

The same happens with the original mybrute game btw... I've seen level 25 brutes with over 800 victories (crazy amount) block and counter my level 220+ so many times before getting killed, it was ridiculous.
