PostSubject: Changing IP's - FOR DYNAMIC IP CHANGING ONLY   Another Ip Changing Guide - If you cant change your IP, read this. *faster* Icon_minitimeThu 07 May 2009, 16:44

Hi.

There is a method with which you can change your ip fast and easily without resetting your router or modem. This method only works for people who do not have an aDSL connection, a router and for those who have a dynamic connection. If you are unsure if you have a router or dynamic ip follow these easy steps:-

---

Checking if you have a router;

Step 1. Click on Start > Run > put in cmd
Step 2. Once a black window opens write in 'ipconfig'
Step 3. Look for a 'default gateway'

Spoiler:

If your default gateway resembles something like '192.168.1.1' or '192.168.2.1' or '192.168.2.0' or '192.168.1.0' then you are on a network router. For this method to work for you you will need to plugin your modem directly to your pc. If you are unsure on how to do this, you should be able to find the answers on google. All you will need to do is switch a wire with another. So you'll manage :)

Checking if your ip is dynamic;

Step 1. Go on www.whatismyip.com and check your ip ex. 129.123.202.1. (do not close this page)
Spoiler:
Step 2. Turn off your modem.
Step 3. Wait 2-5 seconds and turn it back on
Step 4. Now refresh (hit f5) the page on www.whatismyip.com.

Spoiler:

If you still have the same ip then you have a Static ip and this tutorial will not work for you.. Sorry Sad

For safe measure you can always skip this step and move on to the next one. If you have a fixed dynamic ip then it might work anyway!
As long as you do not have a router!!

---

Once you confirm that you have have a dynamic ip and/or arn't behind a router then you may proceed and do the following:-

---

Creating the auto changer;

Step 1. Go on www.whatismyip.com and check your ip ex. 129.123.202.1. (do not close this page)
Step 2. Go on your desktop and creat a new txt file and name it ResetIP.txt
Another Ip Changing Guide - If you cant change your IP, read this. *faster* Resetipddottxt

Step 3. Open the file and in there Copy and Paste the following;

Code:
ipconfig /release
netsh int ip set address "local area connection 2" static 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.254 1
netsh int ip set address "local area connection" dhcp
ipconfig /renew
exit

Step 5. Minimize the file for the time being
Step 6. Click start > My computer > Control Panel > Network Connections
Step 7. Look for a file named 'Local Area Connection'. Copy and past the name of that file.
Note: This file name might have a number with it like 'Local Area Connection 2'

Step 8. Go back to IpChanger.txt and paste the name of the file instead of the "local area connection 2" in this line

Code:
netsh int ip set address "local area connection 2" static 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.254 1
Note: Do not remove the " symbols.

Spoiler:

Step 9. Save the file as ResetIp.bat
Another Ip Changing Guide - If you cant change your IP, read this. *faster* Resetipdotbat

Step 10. You can now close the file and double click it. Let the program run, as it might take a few seconds.
Step 11. Once the program closes, go back to www.whatismyip.com and refresh.

---

You now should have a new ip with which you can make a purpil. To repeat the process you will only need to run the IpChanger.bat file again and presto! You have a new ip again!

This process basically requests a new ip from the ISP each time, so there is a chance you are given the same ip more than once. Should this happen, a pupil on that same ip will not give you exp.

You might wanna take a note of the ips you have used already :)

Hope this comes in handy.. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

With the bat file you mean? Depending on your router and computer, it shouldnt take more than 15 seconds..

TeL wrote:

Well an IP never changes at all... hmm So with the .bat file it doesnt always change? :/

I know you've heard this one before, but when you tried to pupil with the new ip, where your flash settings off?

*NOTE* i have just improved the code for the bat file and made it simpler and faster. You might wanna use the new and improved one ----

Code:
ipconfig /release
netsh int ip set address "local area connection 2" static 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.254 1
netsh int ip set address "local area connection" dhcp
ipconfig /renew
exit

Don't forget to fix the second line

Try one of these methods:
If none of these methods work, then your IP is static and you will have to use proxies.

hi, my modem is this, motorola surfboard SB5101 I tried and read all everybody said about IP's, and searched and searched and read a bit more like I'm doing in 1 or 2 weeks or more but didn't able to find anything to put my modem restarting unless I do it manually or by proxys :')

if by luck you can help me with configuring a reconnect or something to my modem tell me something please, my msn is serbus_@hotmail.com, be sure I always intent to retribute all the help that's given to me, prefering to help 1st but in my position it's difficult (unless you need any help with lvling your pupils :))

Well you have already identified that you have a router and that will help make this easyer.

You dont need the username/password since with my methods you dont need a router at all. Infact, when it comes to pupiling you wont be able to do it flawlessly with a router..

There is an alternative method on how you could check what connection you have and it's very simple. you could contact your isp or just mail them using the details on their website (http://www2.mydestiny.net/ - right?) and they'll give you a straight answer..

Otherwise try turning off your modem and before plugging it back in, wait a few minutes..

Try the above and share the results Wink -- Goodluck

Close enough... Try this Wink

Code:
ipconfig /release
netsh int ip set address "SAPO ADSL" static 1.2.3.4 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.254 1
netsh int ip set address "SAPO ADSL" dhcp
ipconfig /renew

Tell me if that works Wink

On a side note, could you please put the big image above in a spoiler? Like so:

Spoiler:

Thanks in advance xD

*Edit* Listen, if you have an ADSL connection then you probably won't need this bat file.. Have you checked if your connection is dynamic? Because if it is, each time you connect to your adsl you will get a new ip - So you won't need the bat file.

Hmm i'm not entirely sure how adsl modems work..

Try

1. Start > Run > CMD > IPConfig /release
2. Start > Run > CMD > IPConfig /renew

Check if this simple proccess renews your ip. Then again i'm not sure i'f you'll have to reconnect after you release.. Tell me what happens :)

*Edit* Once we figure this out i can guide you tru using a bot (by luckoor) to auto pupil for you :)

Is your ADSL a strict modem, or is it a router?
You can find this out by using ipconfig command and looking at the default gateway, if it starts 192.#... then it's an active router.

Alot of people are resorting to reconnect.bat files, but a good suggestion is to find a forum that discusses your router or even contacting the router/modem manufacturer to see if they have incorporated CLI functionality.

CLI is basically command line interface which enables you to log into the router directly and run commands via command line from within the router.

Another alternative is to try and use telnet scripting to access the router.

Added telnet scripting tool and guide here:

NOTE: after using the ResetIP.bat, I have to disconnect and reconnect, and sometimes connection becomes 'ghost' - like connected, but not working, and I need to restart the computer when that happens, because I can't disconnect it even if I take the USB out

this may help:

You can find this out by using ipconfig command and looking at the default gateway, if it starts 192.#... then it's an active router.

Or you could just look at the JPG he gave you and notice there's one direct wire coming out of the modem.

Spoiler:

*edit*

Then again from his Cmd Line it looks like he does have a router.. "Gateway Prefenido"...

..

Well since it disconnected for you i dont think this could be done with a cmdline .bat file since there arn't any commands that i know of that can direct a DSL modem to connect and disconnect.

However, it is very easy to do using a macro program. If you ask somone like 'BobTheBear' on these forums to make you a 'bot' that will connect and disconnect for you (say) every 15 seconds (so you have time to creat a pupil in between), it'll be very easy for him to do for you. It's just a matter of whether he is willing.

@Spider

So with that program you have successfully managed to change ips easily? If so may i add it in this tutorial?

@paolopong

Hi Lol.. Well you can read all about having a bot at https://mybrute.forumotion.com/cheats-scripts-f13/mybrut-bot-v13371-created-by-luckoor-t1374.htm

This one will auto create bots for you and auto train them till level 3. You will to have a dynamic IP connection and a router though. You can verify that you have both by following my instructions on the first page Wink If you're missing either one, let me know - We'll come up with a way to help you..

On a sidenote, there's a place for pupiling and it's in the dojo mate. If you want to have your pupil page showing with every post, you might want to add a signature to your posts.

Do this by clicking on Another Ip Changing Guide - If you cant change your IP, read this. *faster* I_icon_mini_profile , then go on signature and get creative!
Also make sure you go to preferences and check that "Always attach my signature :" is on Yes

Good luck :)

it doesn't disconnect automatically :s

but reconnects (:
I don't have it atm, but I can give you the DL link:

all we can do with that, is add to the script, one click on the disconnect button and some sleep time (:

anyway, I can't make autopupils while afk..

There are ways to bypass that captcha Wink uhm

Well.. Yes with a 'bot' that tool can easily be clicked and used as part of a 'bot routine'..

What it is really is micros, dunno why they call it a bot..

But yeah anyway.. An DSL bot could be produced using that tool.. thanks for the share!

Now all we need to do is get somone to do it Razz If no one will i'll have to do it myself -,-

Well it only asks you for a Captcha every 2 pupils.. So if i create a pupil and then creat another one within 10 seconds it'll ask for captcha.. If your bot closes the window and reopens it, the captcha will be evaded each time..

And i was talking about crating a Bot that uses that program, which you have provided, for people with your connection :)
