his original if he continue is baton then 3 agi then sang chaud then 3 agi

i change at baton? or continue and change at sang?
really confused

his agi is currently 16
at lvl 16 if i countinue choices and dont change 25, i fear risking 9 agi points

you know my advice but I'll say it again,

take the speed over baton this time and experiment. He already has a foundation that he can win with, and some more agility will come almost no matter what.

It's more important in the long run to experiment with his destiny now and locate martial arts or a better weapon or increvable or whatever than it is to get 9 agility and then not know what better skills could have come earlier

CHange it up and go speed. You always wanna experiment with your destiny at lower ranks cuz the competition is easier even if you do screw it up a little. I made that mistake and started changing up one of my better brutes at flame and now he's gonna have a hell of a time getting berserk.

do you have the other choices from lvl6 to lvl12??? you might have to experiment more at the beginning from lvl6 in the next Rank.

yeah he has tried different paths already... this is the only untouch/feline agi path that makes any sense to take. in the long run this is going to be one monster of a brute

The first 3 lvls are perfect (lance, str, untouch) but I wonder if I would have chosen 5 lvls straight of stats just for feline agi... Choc is a must-have nevertheless.
You only have 1 weapon for a long long time... and no martial arts.

If your rank is low you'd better experiment a little.

untouch is useless without feline agility
here are the other destiny paths: obviously red is what was taken
5 levels of stats when you have / get the corresponding booster skills is awesome
20+ str is plenty to punch through armor, even without martial arts, but that is obviously top of the list on skills to look for i nthe post-feline agility path

I don't think that untouch is really useless without feline. But I understand you want feline because untouch is some sort of a multiplier of agi.

If you take +3 agi lvl 5, we don't know what you may have after. There must be some subpaths you didn't explore. I would be surprised if you just have to chose between stats and frappe eclair during 4 levels.

If you take +3 agi at lvl 5 you have the nice path of related stats or poor weapons that lead to Feline+Choc at the beginning of this thread.

i think Tama is right about exploring all paths.
he needs a second weapon along with the Lance and it is a better idea to explore at the 4 Points i marked hoping for a better weapon.... and taking all the Agi you get on the way Wink

but this is for the next Rank, not for now :idea:

He doesn't need just any old weapon along with lance, he needs a better weapon or Martial arts along with lance (which he does just fine with). Sword and baton are not better weapons than lance.

giving up feline agi + choc for any of those other options for this particular brute is a bad idea imo. Rico you're not a fan of giving str to a brute with herculean str huh? That's just silly.

His current path with buckler is getting ideal... the experimentation needs to happen later and later for this brute.

i agree of not taking Sword or baton. yes they suck if you compare them with Lance.
i did not know what his other choices were. but now that i can see them: (thanks for editting)

Extra Thick Skin at lvl 7 or
renforts at lvl 12
is a path that must be explored at a low Rank.

it is not about taking a useless stat or Skill or missing a good stat, it is about what comes after these coices in his Path...

And, sorry to disagree with you Rico but the basic sword and the baton don't suck if you compare them with lance. IMO, their utility depends on the profile of your brute. I'm a big fan of the basic sword personaly. You can also always have maître d'armes in the future.

I will try sword lvl 6 or thick skin lvl 7. Defense is important for a brute. I know it very well because I have just slaughtered a brute with arts + lance with massue.

NDLR: I am not a big fan of massue, even if it is better than in the old version

The logic consists in exploring the low levels first. After it will be too late with the elite.

well here in the forum we kind of have seen or thought of every possible path that a brute can have and the main Goal here is to find the best brute Type we can find and then try to explore his path for Perfection.
and in my Opinion a brute with Glaive in low lvl is the last thing that could make a brute unbeatable.
i have only one exception for having Glaive:
which is if you get Master of Arms and Maybe Shield first , then you can take the Glaive

Well I'm glad you have a different perspective Tama, though we disagree on many points. People on this forum have developed and kind of homogenized a particular gametheory for muxxu that you seem to have a few contentions with, so your perspective will be valuable in the future for getting the best out of all of our brutes. I hope you can learn a thing or two from us as well.

Unfortunately, Rico, I have already refused cuisinier twice but they haven't proposed espion to me for the moment >_<

I like the glaive because it "choc" quite well (not the sai sure), can block, can ripost, can easily give several hits, has a correct accuracy and his power can be increased (maître d'armes). Polyvalent in a word.

If the particular game theory say "just take a flail and slaughter all", yeah I may have some contentions.

I think the basic gametheory here is that skills have much more influence than weapons, with the exception of a few weapons that tend to overbalance the skills. Flail, whip, shuriken, sai come to mind. Anyhow, the consensus here is that if your brute has shield, contre, and armor then it's a blocking brute, and you should select weapons like the glaive that enhance that. If you've got lots of strength, fierce brute, and a net, you should be looking for heavy weapons rather than the glaive. If you're agile and have untouchable and 6th sense, you should be looking for long/throwing weapons.

In the case of Chunko, I think that having feline/untouchable/herculean is pretty hard to beat, despite his lack of weaponry. I agree with grizz that this brute is going to have to keep his destiny through choc and divert from there. Giving up feline/choc for glaive in the hopes that you might get maitre or shield/contre is pretty slim chances.
