| @everyone asking, i will release it in public when it's done but i have a long way to go yet TODO: UI, it's all command line at the moment. Write and find a decent host for the webservice. Implement persistant storage for the brutes created. @dentdesabre have a look at httpclient 4.0 it will give a 30% speed boost out of the box over 3.0 which i presume BC is using after looking at the jars in the lib folder. | |

Implement persistant storage for the brutes created. we had to disable the recording of created brutes, because the free web hosting could not handle these volumes... and because it made the web service crash regularly. perhaps you can find a better host using php : for us, it turned out using c# was not a clever choice for a free service, because the free hosting market in .net technology is not as developed as the php one (and also because mysql is definitely better than ms access). - Quote :

Can you believe we actually do not know it ? We have a free acount with a 5Gb Monthly data transfer tlimit. But our web host does not provide us with traffic stats. I am pretty sure we used more than 5Gb at the beginning (with over 100000 fights a day), but our web host hasn't even complained ! Now we use a lot less bandwith and what our webhost gives us seems enough. Taitoune.

| I gave up on it for a long time after loosing all the code in a hhd failure.
Only recently resurrected the project when I figured out the 'k' algorithm again. The version described in this thread is very much out of date as there is a totally new code base behind it.
This thread should just be locked, I'll start a new one when it's ready...

| Ok, I'll lock this one.
Since I'm static and would not be able to use this I can offer to save it on a Ext HD for you as a Back-up. Or you could just back it up to a cd. You might be able to also upload it to a file sharer and never share the link.
