then it stops
In the db were no pupils on .de The new version of BC orders the pupils by level for the fights. Therefore because there is a BE on FR and you probably have low level FR pupils it won't show anything while it is doing FR fights. Just wait more until there will be some text appearing in BC. EDIT: FR BE is over. Now you should see some text.

| I think the current BC version is useless for pupilling. That "ERROR 1" pops-up way too often, and most of the pupils don't get stored in the database as it can be seen from this Squirrel screenshot (level = 0 means there was an error, 3 IPs with 4 masters + pupils given to FR and, only 5 brutes were stored): - Spoiler:
So don't use it for pupilling atm. Only for training. We hope there will be a fix for pupilling. EDIT: have updated my list of v1.4.00 bugs in my post on top of the page. Quite a few more... :-)

Does this help? (XP and Vista, but Win7 doesn't differ that much) Your environment variables most likely do not include java. EDIT: there are even some videos out there that show how to fix this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jSb0ZnwaKI or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArKRaaI2Mkg

| That did help as it put on the path I needed and I can train now. I did tutorial but did not work as written as Java utilizes a new path. Here is what I did that worked | |

| Oh yes. All 32 bits applications on your Win7 x64 will go into the "Program Files (x86)" path, whereas all 64 bits applications will go into "Program Files". I somehow don't understand why Java installer cannot get those environment variables to be set correctly upon installation, shouldn't be such a big deal though... Glad you got it working. | |

| One (maybe easier) solution to this missing Java path can be to do: right click on the jar file -> open with -> other/choose default program -> browse -> locate java.exe in C:\Program Files\Java\jre*\bin\java.exe
It may also be in Program Files (x86) on 64-bit systems.

| brutal-combo.jar/ brutal-combo.bat are not even opening for me. When I try to open brutal-combo.jar, nothing happends. When I try to open brutal-combo.bat, I get this: C:\Documents and Settings\Cheng\Desktop\Bc 1.4.00\brutal-combo-1.4.00-unzipped \BC4>java -jar brutal-combo.jar WARN error while reading info for loupasoul: No match found ? | |

not enough opp? HOW? Yes, Vegi's list was for COM. And I guess your DB contains pupils that were given away on FR server, for which I guess you don't (and shouldn't) have opponents. Hence the error (that you don't have to care about).

EDIT: have updated my list of v1.4.00 bugs in my post on top of the page. Quite a few more... :-) so BC will throw an ERROR message on pupil creation even if the pupil gives xp? so if that brute was not added to the db you basically wasted an ip...
