| I saw I cannot put password to the pupils like before:
http://majhwushs.elbruto.es/setPass?pass=1234&pass2=1234
When I want to put a password it generates a key for example:
http://majhwushs.elbruto.es/setPass?p=PXyy1v1pgN8F82rDer3n58qGJi3z4Eqq
So I have to put:
http://majhwushs.elbruto.es/setPass?p=PXyy1v1pgN8F82rDer3n58qGJi3z4Eqq&pass=1234&pass2=1234
But this P code is another algorythm

| you are right flipflip that's new at the ES server It seems all new pupils have a pass generate by an algorythm and you change the pass in your own So Motion Twin will stop creating password protected pupils by an bot!

| Yup. Changing algorithms is the real sign for me that they don't want to allow any bot out there anymore. It previously wasn't the case because they had made some "facilitating" steps for bots in order to decrease bandwidth usage.
It's a shame for Pupil Commander which was in fact much more user friendly for their servers than previous bot set-up (BC, WinCombo, scripts). Huge amount of work went into that bot to make it the perfect bot everyone dreamed of. Transition from all users to PC would have given MT servers some relief. If they change the keys / processes I feel we will not be willing to spend more time on reverse engineering the new algorithms / processes. Given the community that is currently hooked by the game nobody else has sufficient skills to get and exploit the algorithms and this means it's the real end of bots.
If MT fear was that the algorithms went out into the wild, here again they were wrong. Pupil Commander was even more secure than their Flash applet: it is easier to figure out the keys following the traditional route which is to decompile their applet that to get it from PC.
Again, if MT felt that the algorithms were already spreading all over the community, then they're wrong. The algorithms knowledge spreading out was well under control. Only 4 people know all keys, i.e. the two BC creators and the two PC creators.
However, to serve as a reminder they started all their cleaning before the release of PC. They started their actions with the ES server due to people exploiting that transparent proxy bug and creating massive amounts of pupils.
To be honest for me I feel the only reason I got hooked by the game was due to the flexibility it provided to create tools / bots and such. With their new security in place I feel my interest totally went down. I guess this will be the end for me.
But I wonder if MT didn't do an own goal with their new measures: what will then happen with the current and new community without previous flexibility of the game, that's an open question.

| Our day will come, I hope ... but at the moment we can only wait until all changes are made. @ sioc please think about again whether you want to stop the game really! I'm sure this will make the community harder than any changes to the game! It was a pity ... That would be a really tough loss | |

| Don't give-up just yet Sioc, I'm hopeful that MT have ideas about changing the game in other (more positive) ways. If someone is investing the time to stop the Bots, maybe they will invest a bit more time to leave the game playable at high levels in some other way. Surely it was never intended to play this game at level ~30 (which is all you could ever hope for before Bots), when all the interesting stuff happens at level 300-400+ when most brutes have matured. I think I can see how it could be done fairly easily as well, and PC would still be a very useful tool to have Let's wait and see.

| I was sure to put password with this method was harmful for their servers because when I start to use an script for put passwords MT made disable that option and then start to delete brutes. Now they do more difficult this action but I think they still allow bots... Now you can train with BC without brutes deletion, at 5000 connections your IP get banned but you can change and continue the training...
I think MT want to put all more difficult, with bots still alive but without being harmful to their servers.

Not when you are static. Can't say right now what I intend to do with http://sioc-brecrudre.mybrute.com/cellule Will wait for a little bit to let things shake out. MT is not making money with this game so they have no incentive to support it. What is very sad to me is the amount of programming effort Sioc expended on this game.

| If you are static you cannot create with xp so you don't need to train pupils If you use proxys, you can use proxifier for training also. | |

| I think the same, don't worth it, but it's that MT want to make more difficult to level up and some people leave the game, maybe get level 200 would be almost impossible. | |

I don't think so. Having something that looks like (or that someone told it was looking alike) the bit of code in a private golden showcase and having the knowledge on how to exploit it are two very different things ;-)
