just wanna ask a question.. last night i had to reformat my pc.. thats why the folder that contains the java and the Bc was already gone rather erase..
but i did make a copy of db.lck file which records the pupils with exp.. is there anyway to use that file again?!
cause everytime i export it.. it changes the files inside with the new pupils i made.. need some help pls....

Hi Bob,

Is there a way to view or edit the .dat in data folder after creation so we can remove those pupils that aren't yours? I tried to explore db tools and tried several dat file viewers but i'm having a hard time to find one that works.

i actually created a basic script that identifies pupil master from the extracted list. this will surely benefit everyone as the bot script will run faster and unnecessary pupils are taken out from the data folder.

I extracted the java .class files from inside the brutal-combo.jar and was looking around to see how the program stores the brute info in the hopes of learning how to add brutes that were not made with the program.

I found this inside the BruteTable.class: import java.sql.SQLException;

This means it is probably using some type of SQL database system to store the information. Now I just need to find the files that hold the SQL database and I'm pretty sure it's the .dat files in the "seg0" folder. I'm just not sure how to connect to a .dat SQL database?

I'm going to dig and try to find the .class that does the exporting work since it will interact with the database file.

Wow, your router must reset very quickly. I have my time value set to 80 for it to run smoothly

I think he meant 20, since it's doing 3 pupils per minute.

Sigh, I've been making a lot of no-exp pupils lately. Monitored the IP resets and it is changing IP each time. The range doesn't seem that small, atleast for it to run low so soon. I wonder if someone else is using bots with my IP...and maybe the IP range actually being small. I do get only 1 xp per IP often. Well, can't really complain. Free pupils is free pupils.

Any idea on how often My Brute clears it's IP list?

Wish you luck on that. It goes through a thousand brutes ridiculously fast. Hell, I might as well level them forever since it's so quick.

I changed this value in the config.xml as the notes say. The value IS 2 but the bot makes for me 3pupils/minute finally. The thing is it doesnt plays the battles for them. I have transformed the opponents.txt to something like that an i would like to know if something is wrong or maybe i have forgotten something? :S Thank you!

You need more oppenents in your list to cater for different levels. A few pages back is a list you can just copy and paste.

Also note that you need 6 level 0's in there as well.

Hm but the the pupils are lvl 1 no? So are the pupils i put there.. Ok i ll paste the previews ones and i ll repost..

The oppenent.txt is used to make the "combat" function work as well. Mine goes upto lvl 10, and I add more when needed ( its a bit of a mess thou ). You can check your list using the "statistiques/adversaires par niveau" option from the bot GUI.

i can`t get the "combat" function to work and i have a list till lvl 9 brutes in there

i have a lot of lvl3 pupils with al 3 fights intact, they won`t fight

1) Has anyone achieved better performance than 9 exp/minute (3 pupils+ their battles)?
2) The producer of that bot is registered in this forum?

Perhaps they have used up thier allotted 3 fights per day?

Hey guys, i am facing a weird problem whenever i am running this script.

Although i have properly configured everything concerning the script
(config files , opponents txt etc) , when i actually execute the jar,
it runs fine for about 15 minutes, creating around 3 pupils/minute and doing
3 fights for each one of them (with messages being properly displayed
on console's output and xp gained), but then it seems like the ip-reset
procedure suddently stops working for some reason.


What i get from there on, is pupils that give no xp. On the console's output
i dont see any error, the messages being displayed look like this:

I have also checked that ass soon as the problem occurs, the ip-reset
programm stops working manually too. Every time i try to run it manually
via a bat (after the bruteal-combo script has started to fail), the ip
doesn't change any more and the following line is missing from it's output:
"Forcing Termination of WAN PPP Connection...".

What it shows is this:

Device found:
SpeedTouch 530 (0710ETDVJ)
<-------------------------------- missing line
Search complete


My router is a Thomson Speedtouch v530 and my system is running on WinXp sp2.

If any of you guys has any idea of what could possibly be wrong,
i would really like to hear it.

You could configure BC to run your batch file for reset instead of what it is running now. Not sure if that will help or not.

brutal combo is giving 80% in the second slot to wasusuge now..

i guess level 379 is not enough for her.

help plsss..... i only have about 2000+ pupils and my char is only at lvl 34.. but im barely getting pupils with exp.. is it possible that im running out of unique IP's??? any idea to have more IP working??? or how to reet IP's?????

You usually dont run out of IP's until you hit level 80 or so, but it is possible that you are running out of IP addresses. I believe the number of unique IP's you have is based on the type of router/modem/gateway that you have, so that may be part of the problem.

my router is Siemens Speedstream 4100.. and my gateway is 192.168.1.1.. i actually think of that option.. and im planning on buying a new router.. but i really like this router cause it fast in changing IP.. is there any possible way to reset IP's????

Im am not a pro with this stuff, so I really dont know if you can reset your IP's

(If i had to take a guess though, i would say no)

can u suggest a good router with many IP's that can be bought here in philippines??? and another question.. do i have to disable flash cookies???

I dont know what kind of routers they sell in the Philies, but in the USA the best routers are Netgear and Linksys.

I do not have to disable flash cookies so I do not think it is required.

IPs got nothing to do with a router... its only decided by your ISP
each ISP should only need a few more IPs than users it has on a zone, if it has more... well, they might want to expand or they jsut don't care
