Can you use BC?

It seems BC just doesn't load up opponents and cannot create pupils atm. But the MyBrute site is up and running.
Anyone else?

Yep confirmed by others (me included) as well.

No opponents => no new pupils, no combats.

Wohoho. Either BC server is under some kind of maintenance or MT finally put in place a protection against BC requests on their servers.

EDIT: other automated "bot" requests are working (e.g. my Excel tools) and imo BC doesn't need to connect to its server at startup (it needs to connect only when creating pupils) therefore it is very likely something has changed on MT servers in order to recognize BC specific requests to download pages.

seriously, though, how long did it take to get the fix last time? I hope soon enough that non-passworded pupils weren't lost due to no fights for a significant period of time...

if "there is always a way" why dont you hack a bank and buy kuba ?

I agree, a character wipe would be cool. And removing the xp from pupils would solve everything.

In the past, BC being down would have bothered me. I actually didn't notice.

I'm relieved it's not just me. I thought maybe i did something wrong when i updated my opponents list yesterday. My poor pupils

Well... people are hacking banks and taking over countries... :-)
And in terms of computer security imo the only security that cannot be hacked (at least in theory) is quantum cryptography... all the rest could theoretically be hacked :-)

Which basically means a lot of very strange things (if we can trust this source of information; seems too strange for being translated - e.g. an attack of BC server by MT...) but as a conclusion the problem seems to be due to the BC server and it should probably be back to normal very soon (this evening).

Was about to start a topic on this one, i was getting 'Error: no match found', oppened the bc.bat and it was unnable to load the adversaires info 'Error: brutename not found'
thought it was just me, seems we have to wait

Looks very similar to MyBrute and rumors say this will replace MyBrute 1.0.
This time I really feel this is the end of MyBrute (oh, in a few days it'll be the 1st year anniversary of the COM and ES sites).
...I was so close to reaching my target level with spczpdygj (was just missing strength in about 40 levels)...
I think I will never be able to see how's my lil'brute doing in tourneys at his target level...
