| You could... ... export your BC database and look for your dream brute with the MyBrute Search Engine and spend some time (but have fun as well), or...... look in your BC database if you don't already have a clone of one of your dream brutes. Why should you have one? There are only 999'999 (at most) distinct brutes in the game from the point of view of the stats, i.e. without taking into consideration the appearance and name. Each set of brute stats is determined by its unique ID. So basically if you already know the list of IDs of some nice brutes you just have to look for those IDs in your BC export. Of course it means you already have a quite large BC database in order to have good chances to find a match. Here is how it goes:- (1) First go to any site (COM, FR, ES) and look for the brutes you would like to have. Open the brute's cell.
- (2) On the background of the cell, right click and chose "View page source". This will open a page showing the HTML code of the cell.
- (3) Search for the string "_idi" in the page source: the ID of the brute is what comes just after "_idi". For example, in this string:
- Code:
-
... plny3%3A_idi806540y4%3A_lvli58g&a ...
you can see that the brute's ID is 806540.
- (4) Once you have your list of dream brutes IDs, just export your BC database(s) (from the menu "Fichier" -> "Exporter"...).
- (5) Open the exported database(s) with a plain text editor (for example) and look for your dream IDs. If you find a match, then you've found a clone of one of your dream brutes.
EDIT:And this means that if we had the algorithm for inventory (for example it is encoded in the Oontack javascript installation file) we could generate all stats at different levels on the fly for the 999'999 brutes and make a ranking of best IDs that would then be known to BC users. That way we could find the absolute best brutes of all brutes in the game in our BC databases and level them up, instead of looking at subsets with existing good brutes (clones) of potential new candidates (BC database analysis tool). [EDIT: this can now be done with the MyBrute Search Engine] EDIT 2:Given that there are about 22 millions brutes on COM at the moment, it means that each brute has in average about 22 clones on the COM server... EDIT 3:The MyBrute Clone Searcher tool may be downloaded here (on page 2 of this topic): https://mybrute.forumotion.com/t7272p15-how-to-find-your-dream-brute-without-analyzing-your-bc-database#98673

| damn, sioc, you shoulda come up with this before I started the game! thanks for the info. now I know exactly what to look for, and maybe I'll actually get lucky finding one this way. now is there a way to store the names of pupils with no xp created by bc? I make so many with no xp that I'm more likely to create a "throwaway" pupil that's better than anything I've seen in my db so far, and I'd hate to let it go to waste... | |

Yep, I use the commands to search the ID straight from the brute's cell and then search my exported data folders for the ID's of brutes I like.

| Yep that's how i've been doing it too So far got an Stsin-vi clone on .FR and a Kickboxerkilla on .com It all started when i wanted a clone of alphwon, and figured i should run my DB's export to have a better chance! Anyways its a shame that my db's are so small Yet to find my 'froggy' clone | |

| No worries, Sioc. Many people are aware of this method, but it has never been stated or posted in a thread before so you are doing the right thing. I am pretty sure not everyone with BC was aware of this method... so you are helping someone!
:)
PS - I dont really have any dream ID's written down, but I usually look for devis1on, dio-castrato, gova, and other brutes I can think of when I am searching IDs.

I don't really have a dream id, that list of yours would be a nice one to search though (i'd only take brutux and cometviking (sorry kenichiro but he lacks a few skills i like). On the other hand problaly i would love a Bic or a Vortex clone (Bic for being the most untouchable brute without untouchable and its growth, roughly around lvl 80 he's ready! and Vortex for its fast, balanced growth), but as i posted above 'it all started when i wanted an ALPHWON clone', still searching though EDIT: Oh, and congrats on the new forum rank SIOC!! Love the tittle

| sioc, between you and alphwon and whoever else, is it possible to create a simulator where you enter a brute's ID and evaluate their future from there? that way, rather than looking for certain brutes or certain brute's ID's, someone could physically go through the ID's from 1 to 999,999, if they wanted, to truly find the "perfect" brute and then search for that particular ID in their DB. I know I won't be the one to do it, but I know someone out there would be willing to | |

| It was when brutetools was still on, they had a feature to search the future by id (got tired at 100+/-) lol, i also liked the offline simulator tool (great for BEs and whatnot) These days i can't think of any, unless they would allow you to change the id on the adress bar, and the ones i do know, won't (if you find any share please!) | |

Instead of letting users do the work by themeselves n times, my idea as sketched above was rather to run through all IDs with an automated program and to store the stats (the same information as the one you typically get from BC but with a threshold at level 1000 instead of 80) in a database for a few target levels (for the stat points, e.g. 80, 200, 400). Then one could easily erase the most obvious weak brutes in order to finally come up with a list of about 50'000 brutes (out of at most 1 million). That way this would fit in a spreadsheet tool like the database analysis tool and one could then find the IDs of the strongest brutes of the whole game (or any other kind of ranking). Basically all deterministic information for that part is already released in the Oontack tools javascript installer file. But I don't have the necessary javascript skills and time for that. Maybe Ajdija is the only person that comes to mind who would have the necessary javascript skills. - ALPHWON wrote:

I guess it was around that time It had a link to 'divinateur par id' (preview by id), the most common was 'divinateur par pseudo' (preview by name) i guess.... I joined in July here and it was were i found the 1st link to the brutetools in french, until then i only knew mybrutecheats.com (lol, i know....) Doesn't matter now, because there are none available EDIT: Thanks for the big ID update Sioc

| Tournaments will come down now to who enters their clone first hehehe. Now, what I would like is a program that utilizes a bank of id numbers to search a DB without having to do it manually with each number. | |

No, actually i've been entering ALPHWON and his clone the same day and they both fought, also my kickboxerkilla clone goes in it the same day as his older brother - Subman(R) wrote:

That would be great, i'm tired of searching for clones manually too Maybe Sioc will come up with something for the masses

| Ok, seems it was even easier than I expected. MyBrute Clone Searcher by ID v1.1.3 Download: http://sioc.webs.com/MyBrute-ToolPack.zip Screenshot: - Spoiler:
Important information:
- Requires M$ Excel.
- Doesn't necessarily need a BC export. All what you need is a plain text file with on each row "name;ID;..." (remove the quotes, and ... means any text)
- When opening the file you have to accept execution of macros.
- Was tested on Excel 2003 and Excel 2010.
- No limit on the size of the database.
- Everything is explained in the Excel file itself (quite straightforward though...).
- Since version 1.1.0 and above there is a huge speed increase. Please update.
Nota Bene: If you don't know how to find brutes IDs or don't know what they are, look here: https://mybrute.forumotion.com/cheats-scripts-f13/how-to-find-your-dream-brute-without-analyzing-your-bc-database-t7272.htm

I don't understand. Just export your BC databast to any filename (really doesn't matter), for example: hohoho.dataa then open the Excel file and specify the filename hohoho.dataa and the path where it was stored. Specify the list of IDs and finally click on the dog... The tool is looking for exact matches of IDs in the file, therefore it is clear that if you ask the tool to read a BC database that was reworked in Word or Excel or any other application it won't work because these applications transform the content of the plain text into something that is application-specific.
